Hey guys!

Wow! What a start! We'll post about our first few days here on patreon soon (wtf just happened??) and start showing some Patreon exclusive content over this week. However, we wanted to start by sharing the uncensored version of the trailer (we are guessing most of you saw the YouTube version). https://vimeo.com/278166910

It's important to say something about the trailer and things we share in general: All the scenes in the trailer are in-game recordings. We hate it when people show "just" cool trailer with no connection to the game, so apart from being edited in a nice way - all the shots are actual in-game shots you'll get to play and already exist.

We also have a small question to you guys - a lot of people have asked us over the last few days for a public demo... We are must admit this took us by a bit of a surprise (I mean the amount of people, not the fact itself). What are your guys thoughts about public builds? I know it's common, but we feel this can someone "harm" patrons (who are our first priority) if the public build is not different enough from the Patreon version. We are somewhat debated and would love to hear your thoughts and advice, if you have any :).

An initial public demo that's the same as the patron's demo would be cool with me, but then after that keep the public release one or two versions behind.

I think a Demo with one Fixed Character, and a fixed Slave would be great. So you can train one Slave. When you make it correct, it would be easy to put Updates into this Demo. Like enhancements in Graphics or Sound. Or even more Toys etc. But it won't be the Game.

Hmm, I might have a demo version where you start as a 'curious slave'. You don't own any slaves yourself, you don't have any money, you aren't allowed to carry or use weapons, and you are treated as a slave by the other Patreons. This gives you the opportunity to look around and experience the game, but certainly also the incentive to start becoming a paying patreon. Keep in mind that there are some people who may actually want to be slaves. I am assuming all of the slaves currently in game are computer characters. It might change it a little to have the option to play as a slave as well. You could also start as a slave, (on the demo version) then work your way to the status of 'Freed man'. I would assume you could do this as an unowned (player) slave, doing the missions. You would accumulate a certain amount of peculium (tips) and sestercii by doing the slave missions, enough to buy your freedom. After a certain time, and a certain amount of money, you would earn the status of 'Freed man'. You would be a freed slave, and a citizen, but still not a Master. It might be possible to fill some character role, like a street philosopher, beggar, fruit seller, etc. This leaves the opportunity for slave brothels as a potential business for 'demo version' Freed man (men) who can't afford a slave of their own.

I suppose the demo model might be 'observer only'. You can walk around and look, but can't interact. That should be enough to let people get the idea.
