Here are the results for 2025, and for the first time since I started this Patreon, it's the first year I've ended up with a decline. In January 2025, I started the year with 38 Patreons and was confident that I would reach 50 during the year (link here https://www.patreon.com/posts/bilan-2024-119069862). Unfortunately, that's not what happened. I suffered a sharp drop in March and April before a slow recovery. In November, we were back up to 38 before another sharp drop to 28 members, followed by a final recovery to end the year at 33.

I have a few ideas that might explain why this decline has occurred, and I would like to share them with you.1. The Sisters of Storms comic book series lasted too long and caused people to lose interest. It was a personal project that I wanted to launch, but perhaps it was too early? Or maybe I should have done it in parallel with another comic book series?2. My technique has improved little over the course of the year, at least from my point of view. True, my graphics card limits me (RTX 4060TI), but that's not the only reason in my opinion.3. With the exception of the one written by the excellent Mei3Molly, the Wednesday stories aren't great. They're too short and lack impact and fluidity.4. The lack of variety. I only do comics and stories, which may bore some people who then leave Patreon, expecting more.5. My lack of punctuality. The stories and chapters are not released at a ‘fixed time’, and I know that this can annoy some people. Now that I have listed the five potential causes of the decline, it is not enough to simply point them out and sit around feeling sorry for myself. I want to propose solutions, and here is one for each of the points raised.1. Make the comics shorter. For the second chapter of Les Sœurs Tempêtes, I think I will do it in parallel with another one. This doesn't mean releasing three issues, but rather alternating styles. On the first Saturday of each month, there could be 20 pages of Les Sœurs-Tempêtes, and then the other weeks, the ongoing comic.2. Try new things despite my equipment. This year, I'm going to try to work more on lighting and facial expressions. I'm also going to test out cameras to get the most out of DAZ's capabilities. I'm also going to look into following tutorials on GIMP so I can retouch images to improve their quality. (I can't afford Photoshop). I'm also going to try things out on Blender, such as improving models or creating custom ones. Lots of technical challenges this year. I'll also have to save more money because the price of PC components is going to go up, just look at the price of RAM...3. Improve my writing quality. I know I can do much better. Some French-speaking Patreons will know what story I'm talking about (the damn law of 21, for example). I can use it as inspiration to write better stories. Trust me, I'm not going to repost them here. That would be like cheating for the French-speaking part of my Patreon, even if it remains unpublished in English.4. Return to captions and try to do pin-ups in addition to stories. I could alternate publications in the style of story → series of captions → story → pin-up. This will definitely add variety and could expand my audience. Note that the images will be made on Daz and not on AI.5. Be more consistent with my schedule. This means changing my working method and going back to the one I used before I started studying in 2023. Get an advance on publications and no longer do them on a just-in-time basis. So here are the solutions I propose. Of course, there is still one thing missing from all this. Quite simply, your opinion ^^ Your voice counts too, because after all, without you, none of this would exist. Happy New Year to you all, and may 2026 bring you everything you desire.
