Dominique kept pacing back and forth, the watch in his hand. How far back should he set it this time? A day? A week? He also wondered if the changes were related to the time he’d set back. He eventually fell asleep without setting the time back. The next day, he woke up in a panic, afraid he’d lost the watch, but it was still on his bed. Relieved, he set it on his nightstand before heading to the gym, all the while continuing to think about his situation.

After his workout, he went to Justine’s organization to talk with her. The discussion lasted most of the day before the young man returned home. Facing the watch, his decision was made; he asked it to turn back time by one day before going to bed. When he woke up, he checked the date, and once again the watch had done its job. He had turned back time, and as a result, he had a new physical appearance.

Far from panicking, Dominique smiled at the sight of his new appearance and was even surprised. He had clothes that fit his new body type. He wondered how this was possible; during the first change, he hadn’t been so lucky. Was it because he now accepted himself? He decided to check by looking at other details. He picked up his phone and saw that his father’s number had disappeared from his contacts. He checked his messages and saw that he was still in contact with his mother.

Surprised by all this, he sat down at his computer and checked his social media, where he was in for another surprise. His mother had left his father; she had also reached out to him, apologizing for not having been able to support him back then. Reading all this, Dominique began to cry and called his mother. The conversation was warm and reassured the young man in his decision. All that was left for her to do was to use the watch until she was finally herself. When she had fully become a woman, she decided to finally meet her friend Marie in person.

“There you go, now you know everything.”

“That’s a bit much, though.”

-I figured you wouldn’t believe me that easily. That’s why I’m offering you something.

-What is it?

-Come over to my place, I’ll show you the watch and we’ll test it out together.

-Um, I…

-I guarantee you won’t regret it.

-Fine, worst case scenario, I’ll spend some time with a gorgeous woman.

-Exactly.

The two friends left the café. Dominique walked close to her friend, making them look like a couple from a distance. Once they arrived at the house, Marie was shocked—the watch was right there, on the nightstand.

-So, ready to test it?
