I've completed my full analysis. (Patreon)

Saw this comment a bit earlier and knew it was too hilarious and I had to do something with it. I wanted it to come from a character who was more associated with authoritative/informative stuff, and I knew I'd been wanting to do SOMETHING with Adam, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity. This shitpost cost me 90 Canadian Dollars to get the footage the way I wanted it. I really wasn't planning on getting Metroid Dread, it seems cool but I just have too many other games I wanna play and no time to even finish the ones I'm currently doing. But, eh, well, I wanted to be able to tell the wife and her brother they could play Dread on my Switch since I thought they might be into it, so now I can tell them that at least. And I'm sure eventually I'll actually get around to playing it, seems like a great game.A bit of a note here, sorry, normally I do all the processing SFX stuff and it's on the post as a separate file, but here, I actually used the Robot filter straight out of Voicemod live, so the base audio *recorded* was with that Robot effect. Then the SFX file is just some reverb I threw on it. I typically would do anything possible to avoid doing things this way, but honestly I couldn't quite crack how to get that extremely robotic sound, I think I'm gonna need a decent autotuner and actually learn how to use it, but I already had Voicemod ready to use for recording because of another big shotpost I'm working on where I couldn't quite crack the SFX on my own so I'm just using the Voicemod stuff since it sounds pretty much exactly what I wanted anyway, so I just took advantage of that and used it here too.If you're curious, the actual voice I used was pretty similar to what I do for Spike Spiegel, although with this filter it doesn't really matter too much how you sound because it's so potent in its effect, but I found that the Spike voice delivered a nice uh... structurally firmer?... sounding result compared to other stuff I was trying. It doesn't *really* sound like Adam to be honest, but eh, heh, it's good enough to get the idea across and works for shitposting. I'm happy with it.https://twitter.com/KindaSkylar/status/1450204679451947011
