I noticed a small editing mistake. 1:38:31-1:39:10 “It’s making the assumption… when I get ganked” is repeated at 1:39:18-1:39:57.

Btw your comments on daggers being better than swords in the rogue section is unfortunately wrong. Swords has a higher damage output than daggers do, even during levelling outside and inside of group content. The only time daggers become better is if you use the dungeon set that gives energy on hit, and even then you get outperformed once better gear comes in as you can't really switch out that gear. Now during levelling all that really matters is when you get the ranks. Personally on my rogue (during vanilla) I hadn't even learnt backstab as I knew I was going swords on 60.

The problem is entirely energy based. Which is why you will see all rogues use daggers for Vael in BWL as you have infinite energy.

Some points about your rogue section from a raiding environment perspective. Backstab is not an opener, might have meant ambush which is an entirely understandable mistake to make tbh "Entirely selfish by nature of their abilities" - Expose armour with with talents are better than sunder - allbeit this is often not really worth it as fights in classic are short and warriors still have to stack sunder first as it is faster than the rogue getting to 5 combo points. "Daggers are better due to chain backstabbing" This is only viable if you use dungeon set or dungeon set 0.5 for the energy regen. Even then it falls off fast as there is no real gear progression. Once again, you are sacrificing A LOT of stats to make daggers semi-viable. When 0.5 is released it does get slightly viable until new gear comes out. In terms of distributing gear, having a dagger rogue is useful, but hey, play daggers if you want to play daggers, but overall you will never be better then combat rogues even during a boss like Vael (where even combat rogues use daggers) unless you have combat gear, which gives better stats, ready in your bags. Luxury alt thing sounds like a real "doesn't actually play vanilla/classic" phrase. The post-inflation comment rings very much true though. Poison does NOT replace grindstone in *raiding* as elemental sharpening stones are simply better. Horde = MH has WF, OH has Sharpening stone, alliance x2 sharpening.
