So in Other Clay's original universe "eternal slumber" got a way more literal meaning. Also opens the question of not only being universe separations like "before a wish" and "after a wish" but ones where the same person made different wishes; Also wonder if we'll have a glimpse of his universe's version of Tanni, and their variation of the Unusual Happenings' club

(This will spoil the next 1-2 pages) One of the big things is prudish Reed seems to have been from a timeline where he wished for the Mausoleums. Since he doesn't note them being a new thing they must have been the final wish granted by the pillars since because of the way the pillars retroactively change history if a change happens in your future you will notice the parts of the world it changed being different. The Clay we know in our timeline, the timeline where the comic were reading takes place, wished for romantic love to be able to happen between anyone. However since the current sexually casual world is a wish that supposedly will happen after the time Reed and Clay were on the pillars chronologically speaking, they were able to perceive the change. This si what can be deduced with confidence or is known with certainty. Beyond this point is speculation from the characters. The idea is the two Clay's different wishes lead to the two different timelines, the Mausoleum timeline and our current timeline. t's speculated Prudish Clay's timeline ended somehow and it merged with the current one. However the conflicting wishes some how lead to Prudish Clay persisting in some capacity while for everyone else the merge changed nothing. (When the merger happened is unclear, as way back in chapter 1 of the comic Clay says the prudishness was a recent development.)
