Exposed tackle.., sharp kitchen utility items..., so many missed opportunities to (ahem) fix his controlling attitude. But luckily for us readers, that’s not what happened.

Damn

GameCobra

Sure, Wyatt, we'd appreciate it if you could come up with an answer rather than make Adrian look like the bad guy =\

Tygepc

Wow. That's really evil and manipulative. No wonder she's glad to have him out of her life.

ArcadeDragon

Rick, you're going to jail for murdering my heart. You jerk :'(

Assuming no other information on this is coming since the flashback is ending, what pain is the Oxy treating? Has the source of the pain been dealt with by present day?

Mark Temple

i'm assuming 'oxy' means 'oxycodone', a somewhat potent opiod painkiller. (and one that is prescription only because like other opiods, it can be highly addictive if used incorrectly)

midwestmutt

Ah youth, a time to make all the mistakes. Drinkin', druggin', whorin', pimpiin', and having the strength to survive it all. It's good to be young.

I was thinking of bringing that up in a few pages; the pain didn't really even start until after Wyatt started exhibiting this kind of behavior; most of it is a repressed stress response she took on that results in psychosomatic symptoms. She still has stress-based pain issues but has generally been dealing with them better without Wyatt hanging over her head and doesn't need to completely numb herself to feel normal.

So this is just one of many memories that come up when she was shopping. This is some history.

Rhio2k

Wait...what "favors" is she doing for his friends? Is...is he making her do..."stuff" with them?
