He doesn't fully understand whats happening. He sees police, knows police show up when you do bad things, and in his eyes did a bad thing, so he thinks hthey're after him.

Considering the scale of the apartment complex they probably have it set up so a corporation owns the units so as long as the corporation doesn't go bust then the landlord's arrest wont break anything. THe real problem is until the camera is disabled and removed the appartment is under surveillance which I doubt anyone would be comfortable with.

We also don't know if he also didn't had cameras in other apartments (which is very likely) or even in other rooms of the apartment (Hilde accidentally found the one in her bedroom when showing Olivia the ropes in camgirl business); I don't think it'll take long to remove it, but if there's others the police will probably have to do a full inspection in the whole building to find those, and yeah that'll take a while (and meanwhile everyone else needs to stay out since it's now a crime scene in a sense)
