The movie needs the Pokokuro from the books, even if it forces an R rating. She allows too much backtalk from Ateri in 10,000 Miles Up. The masterwork of violent pathos from the Replacements scene must be preserved! The movie needs Me Day in it too even though it isn’t plot-relevant. The contrast between Krakken-Krakken interactions and how they interact with “lesser life forms” is one of this universe’s most engaging and unique elements. I love Rick regal design for Pokokuro too, it was worth all the time he took to create her.
