OK, but yeah, this isn't granting them their heart's desire, this is just instantly fixing a problem the bad guy you just defeated just caused. Returning them to normal none the wiser should have absolutely no bearing on their moral compass whatsoever.

Leinglo

So Kitsune's basically saying it's okay for gods and demons the run amoke and disrupt and ruin people's lives, but it's not okay to expect that they clean up their mess and fix the damage they caused.

GameCobra

Kitsune, I love ya, buddy, but if you keep making a mess and don't clean it up it'll keep becoming a mess =P Like Tarot says, though, you're missing the point. :3

rickgriffin

Well, from Kitsune's perspective, *he is a force of nature*. He (and his buddies) have not always been sufficiently aware that when they take on anthropomorphic forms, mortals expect them to be moral actors in and of themselves.

"You see everyone, we may have permanently ruined most of your lives and irreversibly changed everything forever, but if we fixed that, then you might become jerks, which is a much worse face than becoming an animal and having your entire life thrown out the window. "

CryosR's Writing World

I feel this is going to be some sort of object lesson and "this incentivizes you to push rights for animals forwards" kind of thing. Honestly I think I see where this is going and it just feels annoying to me. I'd say more but everyone else here has said pretty much all I could say

Tim Stoddard

Ah yes, Kitsune. It's "all or nothing" even though a bunch of people are asking for one thing that you had no issue doing to one person in the past.

TibsThicktail

Honestly I’m with Kit here! Actions have consequences, and dealing with those consequences by just magic(k)ing them away won’t solve the root of the problem.

Backtolurking

This. I'm not asking for life to become perfect, I'm asking for a "minimum happiness". A safety net to stop despair, apathy, and self replicating suffering... I think kit is meeting that quota... I think I might be complaining about the real world now. XD

Thwaitesy

I think what he's trying to say is he can't JUST fix everything.

Kurtis Ryan

People need to live life with all it's experiences, good and bad, to grow.

Occ

"Yeah, you got shot by a criminal on the street, but I won't take you to the hospital! Just because they can heal you, you need to learn that actions have consequences."

CorgiButtOnWheels

I love how Kitsune looks in this page. He looks apologetic and a little vulnerable. He doesn't WANT to tell them "No" But he also knows just fixing everything with a snap of his fingers is no real fix at all.

Kimba

I think he’s stalling

Anubis

Nah he's sweet and honest :)
