April Writing Prompts (Patreon)

I thought this was a pretty good thing so we'll try it another month. These things are practically warm-ups for me, to get my brain in a writing space, so I'll probably only pick a few ideas as I see fit.

So here's what I want: give me a writing prompt, post below.

Must be set in one of my already-established universes, or at least be connected to something I've made with my own original characters (do not ask for anything with anyone else's OCs unless they're already part of my universes' established lore).

It doesn't have to specifically feature characters I've already made, these can be new characters that fit the setting or characters I've drawn or mentioned but haven't developed. I'm not crazy about crossovers but if you can make it interesting go for it.

Please do not ask for anything involving West.

Prompts can be potentially in-canon OR out-of-canon, doesn't matter!

Ideally, I would like the writing prompt to describe a scenario or starting point for a story. Don't just mash up two characters for me, that's not a prompt. I need the prompt to at least suggest a problem, not just which characters you want to see bumping uglies.

I'd like something you'd actually like to see, not a generic writing prompt you pulled off the internet or from a generator.

Please do not just ask for something that is a "slice of life"; most of what people consider slice-of-life is actually a microplot. Some plot still happens, inconsequential as it may be! And I am looking for a prompt about that plot!

Okay my rules get a bit out of hand so uh... just do your best!

EDIT: OH! And settings I'm leaning toward (not required) are: ANI-DROIDS, HAYVEN CELESTIA, DOGMEN

How has Res reacted when he got from Peanut the fanfictions written by Grape ? Did he start to read them before figuring out what they are? Did he try to avoid/stop reading them before he got curious? Did he cringe everytime the characters acted OOC or did he enjoy the AU concept? Did he get inspired for writing saucy stories with his own characters that would probably never see the light of the day? Maybe a bit of everything above? 😉

I would like to discourage people from posting the exact same thing every single time, since it MAY not actually increase your chances if your idea being selected (these are my judgment call, after all). But I'm not gonna twist anyone's arm about it unless and until it gets grating

Since there's been a pic and some interest, how about some Farm Life? And since you want a specific prompt... how about, let's see what happened that day the goat took the dog guy's pants while he was showering, and what shenanigans/teasing/lewdness he had to endure from all 3 of the girls to get his pants back (but will he WANT to, by the end?) (I'm especially fond of the goat and horse, fwiw) For something from the leanings you mentioned, I'll suggest Anidroids: let's see a bit of Mira adapting to her new circumstances after the end of the story. (Being a little vague in case someone who hasn't read the story sees my suggestion) I'm not sure about a specific plot - how about the new anidroid goes on a meeting, or perhaps some parts shopping, with Mira and the others - and we look at the new relationship between her and the other anidroids, as well as the still-extant issues with the Code, etc? (Or even just their relationships, to make it simpler - and some self-exploration, ofc, since it's a theme you like)

I also suggest something about the Farm Life setting, maybe a story explaining the situation with the two pics featuring the bull, or even the recent Farm Life 2 peice (totally not biased). If you want to do something with this setting, would you like to have suggestions for names?

Hmm. How about a story from Dogman but from the perspective of that big hyena guy. I keep forgetting his name. But I’d imagined he would have some interesting stories to tell, harsh life lessons learned the hard way etc.

Prior to his enlisting in the Pit Fighters, I'll bet Paris' first blind date probably did not go as swimmingly as the bunny might've hoped.... I wanna read how it goes down :D Another idea I'd like to see involves the raccoon lifeguard and the bunny he seems to have his eye on in the Life's A Beach series of pics. So how did those two cute nudists go from an innocent kiss on to roughhousing in the surf? A casual fling, perhaps, or maybe a budding relationship?

Pit Fighters setting: A younger (and cockier) Sultan loses a high-profile match. After the fight, Sultan is dumbfounded. That is, until he receives good advice (and an offer to relieve some tension) from a fellow fighter.

For INA, I don't know if Raku celebrate birthdays, but maybe it could be Riki's birthday and Aiko has something special (read: sexy) planned as a surprise to celebrate it, but stuff in the tribe keeps happening making the plan harder to pull off.

I think it could be interesting to hear things from the point of view of an Ani-droid who just woke up after receiving the OS upgrade, finding themselves finally able to say and think what they want and not being sure if they know if they can handle the new freedom. While trying to hide it from the other Ani-droids she, or he, works with.

Perhaps they could meet and fall in love over their mutual opposition to mammal enslavement by krakun. Their freed slaves could help in matching up the pair.

Having trouble suggesting something that doesn't sound too slice-of-life-ee Tarot, feeling frustrated after being denied all her rightful glory during Temple Crashers, decides to blow off some steam; Peanut suggests a game of fetch...Tarot is not so sure.

I'd like to see some more Dogmen! Maybe some preamble from one of the three deuteragonists before they all meet up in the prison. What was it like when Lance, Arthur, or Weasel turned? Did any of them have lives they tried to maintain, even after transforming? My understanding is Spencer knew his name only because his parents told him it. Who told Arthur and Lance their names? (I'm assuming Weasel was a loner, so his human name was lost when he tf'd)
