Storyboards Suggestions, Setting Q&A (Patreon)

If you don't recall, The Storyboard was a one-panel comic I did for a little while before I actually put my foot down and started novel-writing. Each comic has one scene from a setting of mine, and one or two short lines of dialogue (usually a joke) but some of them also were the frame for an appended short story (no longer than 2k words). If you have any ideas for a Storyboard, put them below!

Storyboards can be for any of my settings, including the ones I've set aside. Eligible settings are: A&H Club, Ani-droids, Campus Avenue, Desert Angels/Charli's Gang, Dogmen, Farm Life, Hayven Celestia, Housepets!, In the New Age, Last Ennead*, Nothing Lasts Forever*, Pit Fighters, We Come In Peace!*. I'll also accept suggestions for my pokemorphs, the unnamed nude beach setting from the Soda Bar pic, anything to do with my dragon Cual-tan, and anything else I've forgotten (so long as it belongs to me). I'm not certain about accepting suggestions from Empires (the setting where my mascot Ponbon comes from), largely because it's an old setting and I've already cannibalized it for others, and perhaps need to rework the setting from the ground up if I wish to go back at all.

All suggestions should be SFW, but feel free to make it risque. If you have any questions about the settings, feel free to ask below. You can also ask on the discord channel #q-n-a or other relevant channels.

*If you are roughly familiar with my settings you might recognize most of them but maybe not these.

The Last Ennead is a concept where nine egyptian gods were at one point space aliens, but they went to cryo for 7k years and woke up in the modern day to do superhero stuff.

Nothing Lasts Forever is an unpublished novel (I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to do it again!) following a raccoon named Platon who was made by accident the most advanced, indestructible robot in the universe, and he is also a roboticist. He had adventures traveling from planet to planet and fixing things up sorta like a soft Dr. Who. We saw his robot assistant Rooky in one of the Storyboards.

We Come In Peace! is the vaguely 1950s-esque b-movie setting with three aliens who don't understand earth customs completely attempting to conquer the planet for good

Consider exploring a unique narrative angle in the Hayven Celestia universe: "A Day in the Life of an Unseen Observer." This concept focuses on a background character, often unnoticed but consistently present amidst major events from the White Flower II saga. This character, though unnamed and often unlucky, offers a fresh lens through which to view the universe. Each day in their life is a mosaic of narrow escapes and silent observations, painting a vivid picture of how larger events impact even the smallest cogs in the grand machinery of Hayven Celestia. This story would add depth and perspective, highlighting the interconnectedness of all beings in this richly imagined world.

Anidroid cast members installing mods to make their bodies softer and more comfortable in general would be pretty neat!

I would absolutely adore seeing more stuff set in the nude beach setting! Would be awesome to see that goat lady operating her little nice smoothie bar more. Maybe even the raccoon and bunny just being cute!

I don't have any specific ideas, but I absolutely love the idea of The Last Ennead and I'd love to see anything from it.

I'd like to see something involving Rees interacting with Thassiter, perhaps them napping together, or even their first run-in when tensions were high. OR I'd like to see some more stuff with Dogmen. You've had previous Storyboards from the universe, but it didn't involve the four characters we know now. Are there other significant dogmen in the story? What kind of life do they live?

That ine moment in Farm Life where Sammy and Darleen are preparing to go to church: Sammy puts on a tie, but Darleen thinks he is overdressed. If Sammy is the type to wear clip-ons, Darleen is swiping it away, and he has a face like "aww", or whatever you think is more fitting.

For Farm Life, there's a storm/tornado at the farm and Sammy is consoling the very distressed goats(Nocturne included) who hold to him for dear life.

Mr. Aardvark and Todd, after having met up again, getting cuddly and risque, but Mr. Aardvark is also giving Todd some advice on being a better person, which Todd is actually being a bit receptive to.

CA - For being a set on a college campus, we haven't really seen stuff like classes or sporting. A little look into the day of a plain ol student far removed from the magic/universe happenings could be interesting. HP - How's that 'totally new real science' going a year or two later? For that matter, how're Steward and NB holding up? PF - AU-ish scenario where Porte and Paris's rivalry ends in the opposite's favor

The aliens from "we come in peace" watching something like plan 9 or something on their monitors and going "yeah, let's not do that...."

Adding a second idea, which has been partly been discussed in the server: https://discord.com/channels/279780986072465411/877625407732580442/1148419554238804028 Although I sense this might give you ideas already, I feel like leaving it to chance isn't appealing, so here are some additional suggestions: the cat-alien pleasantly greeting the astronaut (who can be off-panel) while he is absolutely baffled by her lack of clothes; because I'm certain that if this setting was in your hands entirely, you would find a way to make the human not-human, so maybe he transformed into one of the aliens, or anything furry like. He is confused by the results, but one of the naked cat people suggests that it isn't a big deal. With that being said, if you have other ideas for this, feel free to do those instead. (Jonas, if you are by chance reading this, feel free to comment with more suggestions)

I have two suggestions. 1. I'd love to see more of Rees (Miller and I think alike I guess). Maybe him looking in the mirror when he's putting on makeup and pretty attire before the formal meeting being all introspective and uncertain. Or just being really comfortable with being physically close and comfortable with Thassiter and the sneks while they talk. 2. An actual pokemorph pokemon battle. Can be framed like an MMA match sort of thing. You've done some phenomenally flexible and dynamic poses with Jenna so making that sort of thing with her or the others into an action scene would be awesome.

Two possible ideas: 1. For Farm Life, Sammy encounters another dog, but one who is someone's pet or work animal. Possibly discussing the differences in their lives, possibly Sammy just watching and fantasizing. 2. For The Last Ennead, maybe one or more of them dealing with wardrobe malfunctions caused by early versions of their costumes not being quite up to snuff.

I would love to see more characters in ah club. Perhaps even some that didn’t focus on the main cast of characters.

From Housepets!, a look at the goings on in the camel enclosure with Sofia and Thomas. In Hayven Celestia, a look at a Coyotl arriving on Earth and being perplexed at being spoken to in Spanish in the desert Southwest

I have two ideas if you ever decide on doing a continuation of the Desert Angels/ Charli's Gang. 1. Based on some of your artwork, you can do a relationship story with Lola and a character where they first meet her at her job as a librarian and build it up to something special. 2. Charli and members of her gang grow board with there usual lively routine, so they decide to do a cross country road trip to liven things up. It would add comedy, drama, romance, whatever you fell would be great for a story.

1. A scene inside a sourang's home. Young sourang pup climbing on the ceiling, leaving claw gouges while a parent glares up in annoyance at them while hissing "Get down from there". 2. Alternatively, the scene from Gre7g's Ckkkrt and Lunsdie series where the sourang and anup lovers are dancing together (I can go look up the exact chapter that happens in if you need). 3. Sugo working on some machinery, and Ghoja is sitting next to his toolbox. Sugo reaches for a tool in the box without looking and his hand instead goes into Ghoja's pouch, making her blush in surprise

I'd love to see what happens between Eliza and Henry (A&H Club) if Henry caught her watching/reading some of the "Lascivious material" she borrowed from Hilde. I imagine she'd be trying desperately to justify how she was expanding her understanding, so that she knows what she's up against in trying to convert others who have dredged themselves deep in sin; meanwhile Henry is sitting beside her and nodding in agreement, but grinning knowingly.

Pit Fighters: Paris wrestling with Mac to test his strength and actually seems to be getting upper hand on the bear by grappling with him on the floor in a strangle hold.

Three choices I came up with: 1. Housepets-A day in the life of a seeing-eye dog interacting with his blind owner and what he does in his free time. 2. Hayven-Brief worldbuilding on Starspirit's hometown and one of her missions prior to Tac Sunus's arrival. 3. Lucky Seven-A crossover encounter with any of your character challenging the aforementioned rabbit warrior and getting a taste of each other's abilities.

1. Ani-Droids: The gang watches an old arthouse film from the 21st century. Dimes doesn't get it. Eo analyzes it using historical texts on the language of film. Million cynically says it's meaningless bullshit. Lily is emotionally moved. 2. Ani-Droids: A few random ani-droids gossipping about the weird things their owners make them do. 3. Pit Fighters: Kinny and Logan comforting Paris after he lost a fight. Paris is spiraling, worrying about his health and his career and his mountain of debt. 4. A&H Club: Eliza end Henry sit down and talk about their issues after avoiding or being defensive about them for a long time. 5. Campus Avenue: Clay and Reed, in a clothed universe, talking and wondering about how life could be different.

I’d love to see one based around Housepets with Cory trying to go into a job interview, with a tie and everything, based on the events of the last few comics, while Jessica watches and face palms.

I was gonna cap myself for suggestions, but if you are still fishing for ideas I got another one: From what we've seen in #4 of A&H Club, the night stand with Hilde's naughty stash didn't look child proof. Maybe Ali is near it and is curious to see what is inside. But then Hilde walks by, notices him trying to peak and rushes in like "ALI, NO!"
