I think the Justin conspiracies started b/c of an old YouTube vid that ppl dug up of him and Diddy. In that video Diddy says he’s spending 48 hrs w/ a 15 year old Bieber & that he “Can’t disclose what they’ll be doing.” Diddy also brought up Usher and said that he had “custody” of him and compared the Bieber situation to that. Obviously the vid is alarming in hindsight. And there’s an added connection between them all. Usher signed Bieber earlier in his career and was his mentor. Separately I think people have been trying to make sense of why Justin fell so deeply into drugs years ago. As if him being so famous so young isn’t enough of a reason. But even if Justin (or Usher) were his victims. It’s their choice whether they ever choose to speak out. I hate that people treat them like gossip or “tea” rather than survivors w/ millions of eyes on them. As for any other celebs being involved (voluntarily or involuntarily) it’ll all be revealed in time.

The baseless rumor back in the day was that Selena got Justin into drugs (we all saw that video of them wandering around LA looking for drugs) and that Selena herself got into drugs from being a young Disney star. And absolutely that just the pressure of being SO famous from such a young age was what got him doing drugs with her in the first place. It’s just really weird to me the way people WANT him (and others) to be victims, I did not see the video with diddy (which is absolutely terrifying from what you described) but I did see one with a woman they were calling Pink but ended up being Jenny McCartney, not even Pink. The treatment of young starlets in the early 00s is absolutely disgusting and like you said, if people want to step forward as victims, let them, and as the case moves forward if other people are charged, great, but the way people are trying to drag folks into it is borderline harassment to me.

I've been avoiding all things Diddy on my timeline. The few things I'v e heard have been disturbing enough, I don't need to see awful rumors too. I don't want that in my spirit. People are out here watching this like it's a TV Drama, it's sick.
