For destroying multiple Fighter Jets without killing the pilots and destroying Sublime’s plot, Bronze Ticket X2

For becoming the newest object of Obsession for John Sublime, Gold Ticket X1

For becoming the newest object of Obsession for Mr.Sinister, Gold Ticket X1

For giving Fury a demonstration of your new powers, Silver Ticket X1

Ignoring the flurry of low level tickets, he flew right next to the Quinjet, which was in rather rough shape, with sparks coming out of the engines, from both ends. From the looks of it, he did not think they could make the trip back home, which should not be much of an issue, given that the Jets were destroyed, so phoning home for reinforcements was now possible.

As expected, the tickets involving named characters gave a higher tier ticket. Just as he accelerated to match the Quinjet, which was going faster than they should, given the state of the engines, he felt it. The strain of holding onto a hundred thousand ton titanic beast in the familiar space. The nuke was not even worth mentioning when compared to the sheer weight Ghidorah had. Maybe it was something to do with familiars being sentient? Lifeless items gave off less train, even though the Nuclear Bomb was of a significantly high tier as well.

Deciding that SHIELD was not really worth the hassle right now, when he had to find something for Ghidorah, he slowed down, and landed on a nearby peak, which was pretty remote, as far as his enhanced senses told him. Man, getting this trait and passing that lightning tribulation had given him such fine control over his Thunderbird powers, it was as if he was born with them. He was operating them as if he had been with them for decades instead of hours.

The Quinjet did not slow down, likely in a bid to prioritise the well being of their Director instead of a new mutant, though he had a hunch Fury was going to make his top priority to find him, because he was something that had never occurred in decades of mutant history, atleast for Fury anyway.

A free agent. Someone powerful enough for the world to force and take notice, and untethered to a degree. He was, with the information that Fury had access to, a spymaster’s wet dream, with no baggage that came with mutants being part of a camp, so to speak. It did not matter if said mutant was part of Xavier’s camp, Magneto’s camp, or in the Hellfire Club.

The point was that Fury would most probably use him as an example that Mutants could be assimilated as enhanced weapons for law enforcement, and that, more than anything else, could be the reason that the higher ups would agree to more inclusion.

Ah, classic human nature.

Shaking his head, he rolled all the tickets in one go, wanting to get it over with before he had to essentially run around the planet and figure out a way to place the monolith that was Ghidorah.

[Ceaseless Discharge]

Trash Trait

"Not the one you are thinking of" Your cum refills almost instantly, and the volume of your ejaculations is substantially increased.

“Useless,” he immediately dismissed the notification, as that was very much not useful to him. That was not even something that would enhance the sex, necessarily, unless specific kinks were involved, as was expected from a bronze ticket. He snorted at the thought before looking at the results of the next bronze roll.

[Fake Weapon]

Trash Ability

Allows you to create illusory weapons in your hands for intimidation purposes.

Another useless ability. Why would he need weapons to intimidate someone when he had a dozen different options of doing so? With all of them coming with very real consequences instead of a flimsy illusion that would have him fall flat on his face in case someone called his bluff. Again, as expected from the lowest tier of tickets.

[Strong]

Common Trait

You were always pretty strong, granting you slightly increased strength, allowing you to exert more force with your body.

Hmm. It was faint, but noticeable. He flexes his muscles, feeling a very small change, but he was sure it was negligible in the face of his already enhanced body now. Still, he was not going to say not to extra strength. Decent roll for a Silver Ticket, he would say.

That left the remaining two Gold Tickets.

[Ring of Sustenance]

Rare Item

A ring that, when worn, constantly and steadily provides sustenance for the wearer. No matter what dietary needs they have.

Useful, but he already had a steady supply of fish, and with some supplementary stolen items, they were pretty set in terms of a diet that kept them full. Now, he was not so sure about the whole perfectly balanced nutrition thing since it was pretty lopsided in favour of fish, but he was sure that he was not going to die anytime soon, especially not due to malnutrition.

It was nice though, that this ring would give him water and food as well. No air, though, which was a bummer. He would have loved to just fly as high as he could without having to worry about air or do limited space runs, considering his enhanced body now had the necessary durability for it.

On second thought, though, he was glad it did not give him air, otherwise he would have been out there, risking cancer just because he could do something. Moving onto the second roll, he got…..

[Tinker - Computers]

Elite Ability

Allows you to build technological constructs or contraptions related to personal computers, allowing you to build stuff like small supercomputers, etc.

Useful. Potentially, very useful, especially if combined with some sort of hacking ability, but not so much right now.

He did not slot in that ability, mostly because he did not want to be bombarded with the knowledge about supercomputers and such. Taking a look around him, he saw no one around, and as far as his senses could tell him, no jet was tailing him either, which meant that they were using satellites to watch him.

Sublime. Sinister. SHIELD. HYDRA. Hellfire Club, Wakanda, and every other organisation worth its salt that existed in this universe. Ignoring them, he exhaled heavily, realising that he had very little in terms of options when it came to finding cloaked places for Ghidorah.

Wakanda was one of them, and the other option was Kamar Taj, who almost certainly had some hidden spots around the world, built specifically to stash away dangerous artifacts or isolate dangerous magical creatures. Ghidorah certainly fell in the second category.

On paper, Kamar Taj seemed like the correct option, but even as he was now, an absurdly powerful Thunderbird capable of calling down the heavens themselves to smite the enemies, he was understandably wary of the Ancient One and all of her time shenanigans.

After all, if one goes by the adage, Beware the old man in a profession where men usually die young.

And she was the oldest of the lot, having survived for centuries while dealing debilitating damage to entities older than Earth.

He would take his chances with the xenophobic arrogant Wakandans any day. So, it was decided.

The Black Panther was going to meet the Ghidorah.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” He stiffened, his body tensing as every single hair on his body stood on end. Quashing the sudden spike of fear, he growled in anger, turning into his Thunderbird form, even though every ounce of his body was telling him to get away from here.

Pathetic!

He buried that feeling deep in his mind and turned around, the weather above him taking a turn for the worse, the crackle of lightning above him complemented with the crackle of lightning on his claws, ready to eviscerate the fool brave enough to—

“Not without help, anyway.” She finished her sentence, looking up at the darkening skies, with lightning coursing through them.

Standing before him, in all of her Dark Energy infused flesh, was the Ancient One. The Magical Boogeyman, OP in most senses, especially in a setting that now had the confirmed presence of cosmic forces like the Phoenix Force.

He halted his charge, floating back on instinct, as he elected to watch her warily, instead of charging in like a fool. She most likely had dozens of spells on standby to subdue him, with the worst being the Mirror Dimension, an inescapable prison that was also infinite in its expanse.

Meanwhile, the target of his glare was looking straight up, at the gathered clouds, before slowly turning her head at him, gesturing at the skies above with just a tilt of her head. Understanding her message, he let go of the tight hold he had over the weather above him and then turned back into his human form, slowly landing on the ground as clear skies became visible once more.

“I must say, your control over the weather borders on the same level as the Odinson,” She idly commented, but that statement struck his ego like a thunderblast. Her side eye meant she realised it as well, something that made him curse internally.

Dealing with even limited clairvoyants would be a pain, let alone someone like her. Without even saying a word, he felt imbalanced already, unsure as to what he should say. So, he took the first cue that came to his mind, about her very first sentence said to him, even though in some part of his mind he knew that this was most likely just playing into her hands.

“What is it that I shouldn’t do?” The question was loaded and vague, but knowing her, she likely had dozens of answers ready, with a dozen other scenarios on where she wanted this conversation to go. It was so frustrating to realise that his actions might have been premeditated, but he let it go, knowing that there was nothing much he could do right now, not without getting some higher level comprehension of Time, Multiverse, Time Travel, and the concept of Self.

“Your gambit with Wakanda. It would not have worked.” She remarked, looking back up at the sky, with her hands behind her back. If he was any less informed or Logan, he would have felt insulted at her action of showing him her defenceless back, but he just let it slide and asked the next question, acting as if all of this was not a rehearsed play at this point, at least to her.

“Why not? With Klaue’s head with me and what remained of the Vibranium he stole, I could have—”

“It is not King T’Chaka that you have to worry about, Mr.Mike,” She interrupted him as she turned to him, “It is Bast.”

He was already in the process of stepping back and mid transformation as well, when he’d felt something change in the air, the very energy of the world around him twisting and warping due to an unseen force, but before he could do anything meaningful like gain some distance, he saw and felt it.

A fractured ring of reality that passed over both of them, transporting them to this place, that just felt wrong to his senses. The mix mash of energy that he was used to, was simply absent here. All he could feel here was the energy remnants of the spell that the Ancient One used to transport them here, the portal spell.

By the time the portal was gone, he was in his Thunderbird form, ready to do… something. What that something was, he did not know, but this act of bringing him here was too much for him, a primal part of his mind rebelling at the very thought of being moved against his will.

He was a Thunderbird!

“Peace,” He paused mid way, slowly coming to a halt as the Ancient One stood on top of a hill she had probably constructed due to her mastery of this Dimension, with her hands in a placating gesture. Knowing that she was his only way out, he slowed down, never letting the lightning leave his claws as he growled out, “What do you want?”

TING!--

He ignored the messages from the system, staring down the Ancient One, as she slowly floated forward to stand just within claw reach from him, holding a coin? A large, purple coin that glowed intermittently.

“This,” The coin floated forward from her hand to float in front of his face, “Is something she will recognise. Your plan of going to Wakanda will fail because of Bast. She will not take kindly to your intrusion. You might be able to defeat the Black Panther with ease, but what about her? She will pull you into her domain and render you powerless.”

Snatching the coin out of thin air, he looked at the engraving of a Panther on it, before turning to Ancient One, turning back to his human form once more, “And this will let me win?”

She shook her head, “No, it will warn her about the consequences of harming you. Even as you are now, you will very much be at her mercy in the Spiritual Realms.”

“Why bring me here, then? You could have warned me,” He grumbled out loud, his senses latching onto the coin’s energy signature as it was the only thing that felt normal to him. It felt wrong to not have any energy for his senses to latch onto.

It felt as if they were standing in a dead world, and that was disturbing. He was used to continuously sensing and filtering out random energies regularly, even in the short period he had with the trait.  Now, that he had the trait, it was as if he was running blind without it.

“I wished to avoid any confrontations with the many third parties that were about to converge on your location there.” She simply remarked and left it at that, not providing any extra explanation, even when he waited for a bit.

Realising the futility of trying to outwait an old monster like her, he looked at the coin and pocketed it, or at least he tried to, only then realising that in the process of turning into Thunderbird and back, twice, he had shredded all his clothing, leaving him buck naked in the presence of the Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar Taj.

By all means, a scenario that should have left him mortified, but he was not the Mike that he was from before. He was a Thunderbird now, and that came with it, a whole host of mental adjustments apparently. With that in mind, he ignored his current state of dress and turned to the Ancient One.

“So? How long do you plan to keep me here?”

“By all means,” She gestured behind him, and as if a filter had been lifted from his senses, he felt it. The dimensional energy from the portal and the cacophony of ambient energy pouring in from the portal behind him. Perturbed but acting unperturbed about the casual disregard for his sensing abilities, he turned around and began gloating towards his exit ticket, out of this horrible place.

“Oh, and Mr.Mike,” He turned around mid way, to see her looking at him with a pointed glare, “Please do take care and not wreak havoc on the planet’s weather systems. They are vulnerable enough as is.”

Understanding the remark for what it was, he nodded and flooded through, taking in a deep breath of real air, with all the real energies flowing around him. The Mirror Dimension really was an inverted version of the real world. Dull, lifeless, and utterly dead in terms of energy. He wondered how energy sensitive beings even comprehended the Mirror Dimension if the sensory part was an important part of how they viewed the natural world. The Mirror Dimension would feel like an aberration to them.

Not questioning the fact that she knew of the Ghidorah and his ability to influence weather on a very large scale, atleast continental level, he looked around, trying to identify his general location, because he was sure as hell was not on the East Coast.

No, this was tropical, and judging by the contents of their small conversation, he had a hunch as to which continent he was on, and also the nearest country.

Wakanda, get ready to meet the Ghidorah.

–Senator Robert Kelly–

He nodded at his secretary before entering his office, signalling her to shut down entry to his office for privacy and security purposes. Loosening his tie, he slumped on his chair, waiting for the computer to turn on, as he had a couple of very important fundraiser meetings to attend. It was prudent he secured their interest for the next round of lobbying necessary for the Mutant Registration Act.

Even with the hate and understandable fear he had managed to cultivate amongst the population, a huge sum of money was required to make sure that Congress passed laws that all but trampled on most rights given to people in the country, not that he considered them people, but not everyone shared his thoughts. Luckily for him, most people in Congress would gladly turn a blind eye to his transgressions, provided the checks cleared on time.

The computer booted up, but before he could do so much as open his email, a video feed turned itself on, and he knew of only one person who could do that and had a direct line to him.

“Trask.” The diminutive man appeared on screen, looking quite pale for some reason.

“Senator. We have a new threat to discuss, one that could prove immune to the current generation of Sentinels.”

He froze at that admission, as Trask never joked about his prized invention. Aside from that, he had a new flavour of mutant every other week, which could not be stopped, but turned out to be very easy to stop, just with a bullet instead of a complex power mimicking system.

Trask was a genius, but just like most eggheads, he was as tunnel visioned as the rest of them.

Even so, he humored him. After all, Trask Industries had quite a decent budget from the Pentagon, and he was counting on some of that money to get his agenda forward, “Speak.”
