Exasperated, tired, terrified, and feeling far more things at once was confusing to say the least. Atleast, the potential extinction-level threat was gone for now. The Ghidorah, it’s three heads were all looking straight at him, the energy buildup gone, and the storm above them abating as well.
The waters were no longer dangerous to any ship nearby, and he was not going to be responsible for the world ending. Before he could heave a sigh of relief, he heard that accursed sound of the Chaos Gacha system, a sound he dreaded with all his might right now.
TING!---
Please! Don’t let the world be heading straight towards him.
With that incredibly useless prayer done, he opened his eyes and mentally dove into the System menu, ready to go through the list of tickets he must have received, and they must be of high tier as well. After all, the system was known as the Chaos Gacha system. Chaos of any kind would work for the system, and plenty of chaos had been generated in the scant few minutes before he had been able to successfully shut down whatever it was that Ghidorah wanted to do.

He was already up in the air, and in front of Ghidorah, screaming at the Kaiju with all the desperation he could muster, “Take us away! Safely!” the moment he read the part about him becoming globally wanted and having united the world, albeit briefly, to hunt him down.
FCK! FCK! F*CK!
Alcina was the only reason he hadn’t collapsed at this point, as she held onto one of the scales of Ghidorah and then him in a death grip, as the Kaiju flapped his wings once and floated out of the water, creating waves all around them. The roar from the Kaiju was not something he wanted to hear ever again.
Before Ghidorah, intelligent as it was, did something disastrous as malicious compliance, he jumped up and gave precise instructions and directions, with strict instructions on using the bare minimum power, and never roaring like that again. It was a sound attack, at that point. While Alcina made sure he was secured properly, he could tell that even she was taken aback by Ghidorah and was looking at the monster with disbelief and even fear plastered on her face.
In a weak attempt to deflect his own attention from the disaster he had created just now and the impending crisis that was headed towards them, he smiled weakly at her, “Far bigger than your own form, don’t you think?”
Patting the scales of Ghidorah to find some modicum of footing, which were not just warm and rough, but also practically dripping with so much energy, it was making his senses go haywire, as it felt like standing next to the biggest source of energy in his life. Even the Juggernaut did not feel so scalding in its intensity, and that man was supposed to be able to duke it out with the Hulk of all people, at least base Hulk anyway.
Continuing his rambling, he made sure both he and Alcina were secured to the back of the monster, as he looked behind and saw the entire sea being disturbed around their path as they hightailed it to one of the most remote places on the planet.
Antarctica.
A laughable goal when he was just a Thunderbird, but totally achievable now that he had Ghidorah under his command, which was an absurd thought he never thought his mind would form, even when he received the Chaos Gacha and met multiple characters who were, only a little while and a life ago, fictional.
He cursed the fact that he could not telepathically communicate with his familiars, otherwise he could have become invincible, as he would have had a direct link with a world ending monster.
He could have taken the entire world hostage at once. Well, theoretically, he still could do that.
Let’s face it, the world was coming for him at this point. He could foresee no way out without doing something distasteful. The world’s powers were coming for him, and this time, it was not just SHIELD that was going to represent the world. The entire world’s armies were going to gun for his head, or for his body. Whatever they thought would help them.
He had to think about it practically and do something he would never do otherwise, and make sure that not only was he not forced into a worldwide war, but he also did not light up a fire underneath the asses of people who were on the fence about the whole anti mutant thing that was gaining steam in America.
Both the Americas were drinking the whole anti mutant kool aid that the people in power in those areas were selling the common people and if the world managed to paint him as a mutant, which was not hard since he had just come from Xavier’s school, then it would be practically be guaranteed that the world will begin hunting down mutants, if not for the fear of what their power did currently, then for their potential of giving birth to people like him.
Shit!
He sighed, the sound drowned out by the wind noise as he realised that he had just destroyed any benefit he might have given to the mutant community as a whole by his existence. He was now going to become the third most popular face for mutants as a whole.
A mascot that practically represented the potential danger of letting mutants live. If the world knew of his face, then he had just replaced Magento as the most dangerous mutant on the planet, and while the people in power were content to rest on their laurels and let Xavier and Lehnsherr duke it out without making it public, they were certainly not going to do that with him.
He might just have pushed the mutant far closer to extinction than before.
TING~~
The sound came, and this time, he slumped, almost relaxing his hold on the Ghidorah, as he forced himself to read through the notification, the words impacting him just as much as the notification about him being directly responsible for the death of over ten thousand people. He was dissociating right now, but some time in the future, when he had a moment to rest, he was going to collapse, hard. He had to get through everything before that happened.
The tickets. The showdown with the world’s powers. The metaphorical dick swinging contests. The meetings. The threats. The negotiations.
Going through the notification, it was as he feared.
For pushing mutantkind and mankind closer to their inevitable clash and increasing the chances of a pyrrhic victory with extinction on both sides, Platinum Ticket X1
He sighed once more, the sound once again drowned out by–
His neck snapped to the side, as he heard it first, the whine of something. A pinprick of light that was rapidly becoming larger, revealing itself to be a missile of some kind. Hopefully, not a nuclear one.
In his panic, he raised his hands in the direction of the missile, while also desperately trying to go through his entire Rolls list that the system seemed to have, to see if he could find anything of value that could be of any help right now.
In his now enhanced body, he could think way faster than usual, making it seem like time was ticking by slower. In that small window, he went through all the rolls one more time, finding dead familiars, destroyed items, inactive, useless abilities, and—
His thoughts went to the last item he saw, the [Ring of Sustenance], mentally kicking himself in the head when he read the description and realised it would be perfect for Alcina, removing the last bit he hated about her, about her cannibal nature, which was actually part of her requirement. Mentally noting to give it to her at the earliest, he went through the rest of the list, but aside from a Vibranium patch that could make both of their clothes into Vibranium armours, he found nothing that could help in the face of a potential Nuclear missile.
Not that he couldn’t take care of a small missile, but he had no way to tell if it was Nuclear or nor, hence his hesitation, but as the missile became larger in his vision, he had to make a choice, because while he was sure that Ghuidorah will be fine in the aftermath of a nuclear missile, hell it will thrive there, he on the other hand would be toast.
He did not want to think of the possibility of him dying and his familiars surviving in a world that was absolutely not prepared for both of them. Hence, as his hand lined up with the missile, he called upon the one ranged precision laser ability he had.
As his hand glowed a bright red, he lined it with the missile as best as he could, but just as he was about to try to snipe it out of the air, the missile slowed down and fell into the water below.
The glow around his hand fizzled out as he held onto the Ghidorah once more, making sure his footing was table as the monster had breached the sound barrier a while ago, doing it slowly and not instantly like it was capable of doing, because of his orders to minimise damage, proving that the monster was intelligent.
He was just glad that the Thunderbird change also gave him enhanced strength that allowed him to hold onto the Ghidorah and not fly off due to the winds. Even if he estimated conservatively, it should not take them more than 3-4 hours to reach Antarctica, even while keeping in mind the damage.
Ghidorah was keeping its bio electric field under control, but being so close, he could feel its sheer volume and intensity. It felt as if the monster could turn mountains into molten rock simply by unleashing its own bio electricity, which was just absurd to him.
He was tense and on the watch, as was Alcina, expecting multiple other missiles or atleast Jets who would keep a watch over them, only to get the urge to smack himself on the head for that thought. He did not do that, obviously. No need to lose his grip over a monster going Mach f*ck in the middle of the ocean, but it was a close thing.
Why would any government on the planet even need any jet to keep track of them? He was flying on the freaking Ghidorah of all things. Keeping track of it was like the easiest thing ever, not just because of the sheer size and the effects it would have on the environment around it, but also because of the sheer energy concentration in the monster.
Even a low level energy probe in a subpar satellite should be able to sense the beacon of energy that was the Ghudorah, and he was sure that the monster could not suppress that energy because it was just not what it was. It was a conqueror. It had no need for stealth abilities.
After almost half an hour of no jets around them, he relaxed the slightest bit and took inventory of the tickets he got from this whole clusterf*ck.
His eyebrows rose as he counted everything. He had 2 Silver Tickets, 5 Gold Tickets, 4 Platinum Tickets, and 2 Diamond Tickets.
He would have enjoyed the tickets far more had they not come with the current situation. Even so, it was a good, great even haul, something that was sure to make him even more OP. Hopefully, it did not come with yet another troublesome familiar.
The chances of getting something on Ghidorah’s level was next to impossible, but then again, he did get Ghidorah, didn’t he?
With that thought in mind, he swallowed, his throat feeling dry as he had to forcefully push his thoughts away from rolling the tickets. He had no safe space right now. No pocket dimension, and even then, the Thunderbird lightning had made it abundantly clear that even that was not absolutely safe.
He had time, hopefully. He will roll that when he reaches the Ice continent, or if he was pushed too far by the people who were going to hunt him down. Hopefully, the wording of just gaining attention and alarming was correct, because he did not want the likes of Kamar Taj and Odin on his ass, because that was not a fight he could win. Hell, he was sure he would be dead long before he even had the chance to think of rolling his tickets.
The Bi-Frost alone was a planet buster, and if Odin just wanted him and his monster gone, he could doom the entire planet, but that was just his paranoia speaking. There was no conceivable way the Ancient One would let him do it. She would much rather punt him into the Mirror Dimension and finish him off for the crime of letting that possibility come to pass.
God, all these panicked thoughts were just making him hyperventilate. Hell, they could just be waiting for him in–
SLAP!
His neck turned to the side, as the impact registered dully against his cheek. Slowly, mechanically, he turned to Alcina who was giving him a cool look after having slapped him across the face, and was now holding onto Ghidorah proper.
“Stop thinking too much. You are powerful. You can control even me. This much is nothing for you.”
The words were said with a flat tone, as if it was a foregone conclusion.
For some reason, that made him feel a little better, and a bit hysterical as well. She thought that him controlling her was the highest possible feat, which was untrue because they were flying on top of Exhibit A, but even so, that grounded him.
Yes, he had come to this point. He could go even further.
For some reason, that thought made him laugh out loud, as he let the thoughts go.
Let them come.
___xx__
After what felt like hours, he finally felt it before he saw it. The change in weather. The cold came first, then the reduced visibility, and then the snow all around. In the air, in the clouds, and of course, on the ground below.
Giving Alcina a look, he began the arduous task of climbing Ghidorah's neck. Alcina followed him, both of them working together to make sure none of them lost grip. It would be disastrous if they fell off from this height. Well, he could fly, but she could not, and without explicit instructions, the monster could wander off somewhere, away from his range.
He had a hunch that malicious compliance was a very good possibility with Ghidorah here. After a good couple of minutes of careful climbing, he finally reached the snout area, and perhaps, sensing him, Ghidorah slowed down as well, floating in place with ease.
“Let us down. Gently. Make sure you have enough footing.”
Ghidorah’s central head huffed, sending what amounted to buffeting winds towards him. He deadpanned at the head as Ghuidorah flew around for a bit before landing on a large sheet of ice. All of it looked the same to him, but Ghidorah must have done some sensing because the ice did not sink when they landed on the ground.
Flying down while holding onto Alcina, his bare feet sunk into the ice cold snow below.
A second later, he just collapsed on his butt, looking at the seemingly endless white expanse in front of him. The Ghuidoran loomed in the background, so did the endless series of crises in front of him, not to mention the impending mental breakdown about the whole deaths he was now responsible for, but for now, the only thought going through his mind was -
Antarctica was beautiful. Also cold. Really cold.
