I just have to say that this show was the first time I was extremely excited every time certain songs came on simply because of how interesting the soundtrack is. I'm in no way an expert in soundtrack music but in my opinion Hwang San Jun did an amazing job with this show. Even now, a couple years after first watching this show, Mediocre Life feat. Pre-holiday is a BANGER and I can't help but get hyped up when it plays 😭

Martha

You wanting to say I love that transition and then taking it back coz it was the dads funeral photo 😭😭😭💀💀 COZ SAME! Also the girl is the one from Nevertheless (not sure if you’ve figured it out yet, havent finished watching the video yet 😂😂)

Favourite k-drama, I’m so excited to watch it again with u

Amicaca

You probably recognise the actress cause she’s in the MV for “Seven” by Jungkook

Hello Caitlin !! I am so excited for this new journey with you! I really liked My Name even if it's very (very) dark. This drama has many tw, maybe you can check them out before watching each episode ? It's definitely not for the faint of heart. Way way bloodier and more brutal than The Glory : death and violence are omnipresent. Hopefully watching Twinkling Watermelon will counterbalance the heavy topics and ambiance of My Name 😊

eve

This is gonna be fun. Ever heard of the HOT 🔥 🔥 drama 'NEVERTHELESS' with HOTTIE Song Kang from 'My Demon'? This lucky actress Han So-hee, plays the female lead in that drama. Their chemistry is nuclear💥💥💥. She is a very talented actress and this is one of her best. Welcome back Miss Caity B(B for be healthy always). You make this old grandma's day with your content and reactions so I keep you, your health and well-being in my prayers 🙏💜Great Thumbnail 👍

I've seen others point out the roles you have seen Han Sohee in but I think the reason you couldn't quite place her is because she does look a little different. She actually beefed up and gained 22lbs for this show! She was so set on carrying out the stunts safely, she stayed behind in the action school she attended with other cast members for an extra month. Very impressive stuff!

LETS GOOOOOI

YazStayMoaTiny

I voted for this and I'm definitely rewatching with you and I'm already hooked...again I think it said it was her 17th birthday Also she's from Jungkook's 'Seven" MV Can't wait for the next episode already!

Hi Cait! i missed watching drama with you, your reactions are everything!!👏🏻 . This show i saw it ...i don't remember when but at that time was one of my favs💯, this community loves action and i'm so here for it lmao Han So-hee is fire here!! so good, thank you sm!

Artemis Delphinia

This show is so good though you might need a little romance drama after this end lmao. Maybe part of the reason why the lead actress Han So Hee looks familiar is that her and Ryujin from Itzy look alike quite a bit and Ryujin is a fan of hers. It was brought up during one of Itzy's variety show contents. There's another actress as well that looks like them too.

meluncholy

i always forget how good this first episode is 🙏han sohee’s character is (imo) one of the best written female leads that ive seen in a kdrama so i can’t wait for you to see her journey!

Nala

Yaaass Miss Han Sohee ate this role up!! 😌 She did her own stunts!

Alexandria T

This does remind me of The Glory but also...Million Dollar Baby (an American movie with a woman boxing) and shades of Jennifer Lopez in Enough (another American movie) which also had a woman learning to box/use self-defense to get back at her abusive husband. The scenes with the classroom bullies and stuff reminded me of The Glory, but so did the scene of her imagining hitting the perp who killed her father (like the good doctor boyfriend imagining killing his father's murderer in The Glory).

Sherree James

This is not a recommendation but Caitlin watch what feels good for you, don't always worry about the numbers. If you like action dramas you will like this.
