Holy crap, one of the best reactions to Baelish betraying Ned I have ever seen, started cackling! Also, we have finally introduced Papa Lannister himself, woohoo! Also, I wanted to ask you something. There is a series of videos called Histories and Lore, it is hour long animated videos that you watch after each season finale. They are deeper dives into the lore of GOT without spoiling anything, mainly focusing on events before GOT, relevant houses, the gods and more non-spoiler lore. The videos are voiced by the actual actors from the show and are somewhat of a hidden gem among reactors, with not many watching them. If you do decide to watch the first one after episode ten, I recommend the playlist by Thrones Insider. There are multiple playlists created by various channels, but the ones by that channel are the most well-edited. Anyways, love your reaction as always and cannot wait to see you finish season one!

My favorite thing about this show is the way that almost every single character is not a true hero or villain. You go through literal journeys with everyone and switch between loving and despising them EXCEPT THE LANNISTERS I HAVE NOTHING BUT CONTEMPT AND DISGUST FOR Y'ALL

Had a crush on Ned the first time I watched the series. Loved the honor, integrity, and protectiveness, but it's less that he is too good and more that he unconsciously believes others hold similar values to any extent and he doesn't thoroughly investigate, observe, measure and verify people before taking their word. His mode of living in the North has no place in the cesspool of corruption and lies that is King's Landing. Quite mad that his wife, Caitlin, is led by emotion and pride -- also, not going to lie that I never completely like her because of how she treats Jon Snow. It's like she thinks 'to hell with the consequences, this must be right because I feel it so strongly' and then doesn't look beyond that to the possible detriment of others. Her sister, eesh, those were uncomfortable scenes. I just love the writing of GOT (aside from any damage to my favorite characters). showing so well how beliefs, decisions and actions have a rippling effect beyond what most can imagine. I can't get over how your reactions and commentary add soo much levity to even the toughest scenes. Seriously could have benefited by that the first time through (lol, as if the show itself is a gauntlet!). Can't wait for the next episodes!

Poor Ned. His problem is that he is TOO honorable. No one else is willing to play by the rules and so because of that, his honor leaves him the odd man out. Even the people around him have told him he has too much honor. A trait that John Snow tends to have as well if you notice. It will be interesting to see if his character adjusts any of that being in the nights watch over the next few seasons.
