this song was so vulnerable for her, that emotion and everything it makes me cry

no cause truly people who think that the ones who are doing something they love are signing themselves for hate is ridiculous, it does not makes sense AT ALL. You can not enjoy something but it doesn't mean it's okay to be out here being a nasty person... it's also def hard to ignore hate comments because no matter how many good ones u get u still have in mind that one thing a person said.... idk how behind some of the stuff there are human beings cause the stuff that are said about other people are atrocious. As u said most of the times it's def about getting a reactions out of people or to hurt them. Appreciate u always Caitlin<3 it was nice to listen to this song with u for the first time

100% agreed with everything you said. The fact that the creator/idol or wtv that is receiving these comments has to ADDAPT to them is crazy?? Like I just can't wrap my head around that concept. Like when did we start normalizing such behavior? We as a society have forgotten that someone exposing themselves to a public is still exactly that: someone. A human being with emotions and doubts and everything else. Anyways appreciate your reaction as always! Miss Rosé is really doing it for me lately

hi caitlin, love ur rxn of rose. and i appreciate ur little rant. even with me, having a fair share of hate. i feel like this blank canvas. and every brush i stroke are from all of those hate/malicious comments. it shaped me into this quiet, insecure individual. now that im older and in another country, im determined to become a new canvas and just paint me. paint myself to be the version i want to be and not what others wants me to be. also, caitlin, even with the hate u receive, we are always here. just behind u girl. i know its hard to avoid the hate. but dont overlook the good comments as well. love u cait!! and im also excited for rose album!,

Love this song! I didn’t realize that it was about the haters. I just assumed it had to do with the relationship that she will be talking about on the album. But everything you said is spot on! I don’t understand why people feel the need to comment. Liek there are plenty of groups I don’t like or vibe with. But I would never feel inclined to go comment under their stuff. Like I just don’t get why people think there hate opinion needs to be heard.

I just love the song, the meaning behind it... but also a lor can relate to it in different aspects... because even sometimws we might not have haters like her, but inside we want to please others in order to be accepted. I really hope besides all the hate they receive they can also perceived the amout of love we have for them. Idols are humans not robots.

It’s crazy because people in general these days are becoming so mean and rude like it’s a “norm” now

Dania

Sooo relatable song

And actually I really want to see her acting she knows how to convey her emotions. I noticed that with APT, on the ground, lovesick girls and now with no1 girl

When you work with kids one of the things you learn is that a negative comment or action (doesn't have to be mean, just that the kid percieved it like something negative) sticks around way longer than praise. The idea that adults would be any different makes no sense. We always take in the hurtful or negative thing to heart, it's actually part of the survival mechanism. In old times it would keep you alive (stay away from the tiger, if you know what I mean). Unfortunately in todays society all of our natural fears are gone so instead we subconsciously latch on to the closest thing, which is usually just a negative and doesn't help us. I always feel sad when I hear about people affected by these sorts of things because there isn't really an easy fix. The song is just incredible. Rosé sounds amazing and she really manages to get us all to feel with her. I think the moment that made her write this really stuck with her and you can still feel the emotions she had at the time in the song. Hopefully she has good people around her to help her deal with these emotions when she needs to. I also agree with you about it working for other things as well. As a parent and teacher, the first thing I heard when I heard it the first time (not knowing the story behind it) was a daughter crying out for a parent to love them. So I think this song showcases an emotion we can feel in so many different scenarios of life and that is really interesting. Great reaction, loved it. I don't know if my words would offer you any comfort for the things you've had trouble with, but I hope that you know that there are a bunch of people out here in the real world that appreciate your content and greatly enjoy it. We might not always be the best at expressing that we appreciate it, but we are here a lot of the time.

There are so many takes you can do with this song and addressing the hate she's getting is just one of them. The amount of interpretations i've seen and read just makes this song more hurtful and beautifully vulnerable. I saw someone interpret this from the perspective of someone who never felt like they were loved as a child by their parents and they pushed and pushed themselves to be an overachiever. Someone interpreted this coming from a one-sided relationship. Its an amazing song!!! 💕

As many have pointed out it’s just so relatable to so many different situations. To me personally I related it immediately to me being adopted and I wish I would’ve been my moms number one girl especially since she had 2 more kids after me. We have a relationship now for years but I never grew up with her and now even as a 31 year old certain scars will just forever be there.

Omg I'd love to see her explore acting a bit more! I feel like now that she has more control over her solo endeavours, it's actually a possibility👀
