the cockblocking was insane lmaoooo. anyway, i wanted to say two things! first, now the pace will pick up more but i am glad that the first episodes were "slow". to be honest, i believe ur now picking up on this because you commented slightly about it, but jae-won's love language is indeed touch in my opinion. and thru those first episodes the slowness allowed for us (audience) to truly take in the awkwardness of falling for someone but also it just FELT, really felt, intimate. it was almost as if we were there, feeling how the characters felt - at least i did when i watched it. like that scene where they both helped each other to dress up in that second ep... like it was so tender, so beautiful, so intimate. obviously, the pace is not for everyone but the people who worked on this show really wanted to make something different, capture other sides of a relationship you dont typically see in other dramas. while most scripts want to entertain the viewer and quickly pass on from a cute moment to another cute moment, this one really wants you to sit with these feelings. rather than feeding words so the audience learns about what they feel, they are --showing-- us, thru touch, body language, expression, the way a scene is lit or how light reflects in some of the characters versus others. i remember i got butterflies in this ep when their hands touched. it was beautiful, but my ABSOLUTE fav scenes are yet to come!! ps: not saying other dramas are wrong for this or this one is right, im just trying to explain how they feel different ^^ i love a vast range of media, of any kind. secondly, because these mostly drop on mondays, i want to thank you Caitlin, for making my mondays more bearable 🥹 really, these past 2 weeks have been so much more easy because i had this small but really big thing that i was looking forward to.

I simply cannot wait to go home n watch this, i might not even make it home. i might just watch this once my boss leaves today

Rhamat

Love the reaction ❤️

cailen

YESS i’ve been waiting for this. let me just say, the way eun ji was acting at ji hyun’s job… absolutely not she better be glad i wasn’t working that’s all imma say. she just needs to stop taking everything out on ji hyun like it’s not his fault jae won does not like you at all 😭 also im sorry but i love aeri LMFAO. ik you think she was saving face with the whole you thought i liked you thing but idk i didnt get the vibe that she did like i think she just truly wants to be his friend especially since she noticed the way ji hyun was acting with jae won on the surf trip. idk but i love her sm i cannot WAIT for your reaction to episode 5 like im going to be literally holding my breath until then

Cailey Forman

It’s currently 4:35am, and I have school in 4 hours… this doesn’t stop the eighth sense grind!!

Matt Vesliño

just caught up with this series and am pretty much just watching it with you and wow... idk if you've heard of the "mumblecore" genre caitlyn, but this is kind of what that is - mostly dialogue-driven, little bg music, a lot of prolonged, lingering shots to let us sit with those feelings, and a simpler editing style to accompany it. it's slow but i find it very tasteful! like i'm getting to know both jaewon and jihyun in a very intimate way and i'm living!!

Cailey Forman

Yeah I agree with your statement about the lack of communication. I think that was intentional since they’re both so young and still navigating friendships and relationships. I think communication will come as their relationship blossoms. I’ll be so real I haven’t watched this drama for years so I’m basically rewatching this for the first time with you

Lily Bujnak

ugh can't wait for the next episoooooode!!!

al1cst3

thank you as always! i'm busy so i'll watch tomorrow aa cant wait haha

Noor Alfaro

I really love the progression of the series, i know the pacing is different but the characters growth throughout it is just so good IMO 🙌

Cele B

Aw I cannot stand that lassie! I was so happy his boss stood up for him. Still loving the series so far but deffo still trying to shake them through the screen to use their words 😂

Rosie

She’s so annoying like I really can’t… at your big age your made at a freshman for just existing around Jaewon bye…. Cause so far she doesn’t even know what they been up to romanticly she just knows Jaewon don’t care for her and has a soft spot for jihyun and she’s mad. Girl bye grow up I see why Jaewon don’t want her. Anyways their lack of communication is very intentional especially on jaewons part, my man has trauma, shitty parents shitty friend and shitty ex I think he just always had so much going on in his head. But I love them sm they are so cute

Lexie Spencer

bro the cuss words that left my mouth when she acted like that...... i need to wash my mouth out with soap😂🤦‍♀️

Hannah Hardaway

I’m excited for you to see the rest of the series. Like it’s so good.
