Chiiken

AIB lets goooo

Portal_Paw

Their chemistry together is so good! I’d love to watch a slice of life made about just the three of them

Portal_Paw

Always do English subs, not English CC. The CC follows the dub so it’s usually a bit inaccurate

Savannah

Genuinely so excited to be rewatching this with you again! It’s like how I felt to rewatch The Glory with you!!!

Brittany Joy

Be prepared to be confused for quite a while lol

FroggyMuds

In my humble opinion this is a million times better than squid games. I could watch this show a million times

Lily Bujnak

just for your information each character represents a character from Alice in Wonderland (Arisu represents Alice, in Japanese Alice is read as Arisu and then there's more characters but I don't quite remember all of the representations) also the actor who play Arisu is literally Lee Knows twin like they look identical!!!

Jennifer

So happy you decided to watch this amazing show!! Crazy does not begin to describe it

J

YOU’RE WATCHING ALICE IN BORDERLAND?!! OMG

FrankFrogul

I forgot how peak this show is

lukeibe

Really excited to watch this one again with you.

Belaid Annouck

THANK YOU OMGGGG !!! I’m so happy you’re watching!! I am part of the people thinking this is way better than squid game (but also so different, only the games in commun really)! Also YES MY MAN Kento Yamazaki do be looking absolutely etheral I’m glad you noticed lmao🙏🏼

Belaid Annouck

He also lowkey ressemble Lee Know from skz which is a little funny

Alexia

OMFG !!!!

tuba

im so happy rn

Akitsune.a

im so happy you are reacting to it !!

Jay Mèlanie

I cannot lie, I am kind of scared! Like "Squid Games" I have heard how good this show is, but was fearful because of the violence and the primase of the show...I mean I cried reading & watching "Hunger Games"... but after finally watching SG season 2 with you and getting through it, I think I might be able to give this a shot. Here we go!

Leonie

Im soooo exciteddddd !!!!!

Ayeyassha

I feel like even though both Squid game and Alice in Borderland are similar, they are extremely different. Imo they are both of similar quality, one just has more themes of class struggle, while the other has super natural elements and harder games that require more clever solutions

Ayeyassha

The main actor Kento Yamazaki is such a huge movie star in Japan. He's been in soo much live action anime stuff and more. Def one of Japan's most reputable actors

Ayeyassha

ALso im sure you noticed all the Alice in wonderland references as well :). There is also a lot more of them to come too! Arisu the main character, is the Japanese pronunciation of Alice. Since the L's and R's are often switched out in Japanese since the letter L doesn't exist in the Japanese alphabet. So its Arisu in Borderland lol

des

Yess ur going to love this show!!

azaria

this is a really interesting show. i really like it i’m happy to be watching this for the first time!

Karla Moreira

I get secondhand embarrassed with this show way too much to consider it better than squid game but it's a fun show for sure.

J Mero

I love how you are getting more and more into Japanese entertainment!☺️ I’m so glad that

Belaid Annouck

Yeah I get what you mean! Though, I feel like aib has better writing overall (but mostly bc it’s based on a manga which already has an ending), while I feel like they lost the purpose of squid game along the way :/

Ariana Escalante

YESSSSSSS!!!! I was waiting for this moment ☺️😂

Arc

Never seen this before but heard it's good. Excited to watch it with you!

Ayeyassha

To be fair Alice in Borderland just has to be thrilling to be good in my opinion, while I think the reason Squid Game blew up the way it did was because of how it was set in the real world and could convincingly happen. but personally i prefer Alice in Borderland because I just like thrilling death games where you have to use your brain and I like the supernatural elements as well more

Nae

Your reaction to the English is exactly the same as me. It shocks me each time 🤣

Mikkeai8908

I think squid game and AIB are like the same level of how good they are. I don’t think one is better than the other. Especially because the circumstances and storyline(s) in each show is different. So they can’t be compared.

Mikkeai8908

Also the actor for the ML Arisu (named Kento), alot of people say that he and leeknow from stray kids look alike. And ever since they pointed that out, i can never unsee it now. I always say that Kento and Leeknow have the Japanese and Korean versions of the same face.

Rylie

YESS FINALLY!! I can’t wait to watch you react to this! And rewatch it with you of course to prepare for season 3 :) you’re in for a wild ride girl!

Michelle Lanie

I would definitely agree. Alice is better than squid games. They are both great but Alice is something special 🤗

Cath

Both squid game and AIB are good but definitely AIB is better in my opinion! I love the story and the way it was shot is sooo good! Also I love the color correction they use for the show, it's beautiful

yumia

They definitely look alike. Have you ever heard of Maddox (soloist under KQ)? I would add him to the group.

ChunkySloth

When I saw AIB on your poll a while back, I was beyond excited to see you react to it. Having watched the first ep with you, you did not disappoint. This show is similar in premise to SG but overall very different. AIB is so much more intense, in my opinion & it’s an absolute masterpiece of a show. Kento Yamazaki (the actor who plays the main character, Arisu) is one of the most talented actors I’ve seen so far & I’m 300+ Kdramas in. And yes, he is beautifulllllll 😍😍😍

jimin's muse

im so excited to watch it with you! it's my first time as well

amelia

the dub jumpscare 😭😭😭

heyitspf

OKAY IMMA START WATCHING THIS let me see what the hype is aboutttt
