I literally watched this show like 4 times but I feel startled everytime watching again 😭

Zanayah Moore

I don’t understand why people can’t not spoil. I’ve watched AOT multiple times and I love watching people’s reactions to watching it for the first time. It’s really not hard. I would just shut them off and leave it at that. I feel like you’re going to continue to get spoilers, especially with the new season. It’s sad we can’t have nice things.

Célia _

Everyone was confused at first it's normal, it will all make sense

Arelys

Is it really that hard to avoid spoilers in the comments? 🙄 Come on, guys, it's not that tough. Just enjoy the content and keep the surprises intact! AOT is a masterpiece, we get it. But let the people watching it for the first time experience it the same way we did when we watched it! PS: Caitlin, greetings from Costa Rica! Hope you're doing great! 😎

Portal_Paw

Season 4 is genuinely so amazing! I can’t wait to see your reactions

Célia _

"To save Mikasa, Armin" the fiest time i saw that i was going feral (T▽T)

Portal_Paw

It’s been really nice seeing everyone’s thoughts on these reactions so far and I would love to see them for season 4, so please stop spoiling stuff guys

Unfortunately I think you’re right 😭 It’s a shame some people are ruining the fun for everyone

heyitspf

caitlin getting random moments of connecting the lines is so funny to me!!! like that was me when this anime is on air and needs to wait for another week just to connect the dots

Aiko Yoshina

Absolutely, season 4 is indeed about to be peak... peak depression...

Malaina Wilson

By all means PLEASE turn comments off if ppl can’t control themselves. I’m not new to the show but I know there ARE people in here who are watching for the first time with you.

Nylette

I think some just want to help by summarising or explaining things which Caitlin didn’t catch, but, please, don’t. She’s just commenting how she understood the story and even if she misunderstood something, that’s how we were, too. Don’t try to help, just wait till she gets more information. “See the beauty in confusion”. S4 is such an epic season, it would be such a shame without any comments!

Yogurt

Caitlin you mean this whole time you were watching the memories bit without knowing that was Grisha (Eren's dad). No wonder you were so confused lol you must have been wondering who is this random man

Athena

Just finished watching! Watching this episode for the nth time made me curious, what might be Eren's reaction when he saw the sea for the first time without knowing the reality of the other civilization and everything? The pure Eren, Armin, and Mikasa who just wanted to see if the sea is real? Sometimes I wanna imagine that Eren got to see the sea for the first time without all those memories of what's outside the walls, like without the burden of saving their race and bringing back freedom. He's been through a lot at this point. 🥺 If that happened, he will probably be just as happy as Armin and Mikasa.

Floch although being an asshole was speaking the truth. He also helped to provide that outside perspective which was refreshing since he wasn't 100% in agreement with our MCs. It basically gave another layer of believability to the situation overall. I also loved how Floch reflected S1 Jean here, which was why Jean was able to see where he was coming from. Remember when Jean questioned Eren before their 1st expedition? Floch's moment was basically like that moment. They both even said the same thing by the end, that they had a right to decide what they're dying for. For majority of the series, the ocean has always symbolized the path to freedom but now that we're finally here, freedom is still nowhere in sight. The cage only seems to have gotten bigger...

Ayeyassha

So excited for season 4 ahhhh.

Karla Moreira

I think you'd have a better understanding of things if you just row back a few seconds when you get confused abt something. I notice that sometimes you have questions abt something that was just explained and watching it back could help you get less lost. It's totally up to you tho, if you think the way you're doing is not interfering in your experience that's fine!

Alayna

Them at the sea never fails to make me emotional! 😞😞

Vi

I can't believe we are here 😭. I feel really bad for Eren, everyone was really happy seeing the sea for the first time and It seems like he couldn't really enjoy it as it was because of everything going on. I think this is my favorite season too. But getting all this information in a few episodes was really doing too much for my brain, lol.

Ariana Escalante

I can’t wait for season 4 but excited for this episode today

Saron Eriken

this episode is so emotional and significant omg, i'd defo recommend watching it again after u finish the series

Alana

i'm so excited for you to watch season 4! can't wait 🩷

Aaryan Bangera

i was screaming at the screen while watching this LMAOOO but understandable its a lot of information it took me a while to get it too

Naty

It's totally normal to be confused, specially because the way this anime reveals everything is so unique, so don't worry, you'll get it, i'm still getting things, that's how crazy it is, and i've watched this a lot 😅 So ready for season 4!

Summer Vang

I can’t believe we are already going to season 4!! It’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster with even more information so strap in girl 🤣🤣🤣 just assume everything you know is wrong at this point and let the show reveal the story that’s what I did lol. And yall pls stop spoiling the show. Don’t ruin it for her or for the others who are watching it for the first time with her.

Fairy_marlise

The ending of this season is so bittersweet to me :(. I feel like this is where the innocence is gone. The way he wasn't even able to enjoy something he'd been wanting to see all his life. One hell of a season! It might be my fav season as well. B4 moving to the next season, I highly suggest you fully digest what happened here, specially in these last eps. Like you said, the only way to not be this confused is if it wasn't you 1st time watching. And since the comments section is danger zone, a help from mods or maybe a rewatch. If you want/can ofc. Not to say all your questions hv to disappear, bc let's be honest it's impossible with this show😂(that's what used to make conversations w/ other watchers so interesting), plus it wouldn't make sense not to hv them when we still hv one long season to go. Anyway, So excited for youuu🫶

Gray

This anime is definitely designed for a second or third watch to fully grasp the twist and turns of the plot because there are scenes that really doesn't make sense until you get to a certain point in future episodes, so don't feel bad about not getting it all at once even if it was just explained. AOT can be overwhelming but once all the puzzle pieces fall into place it will just make sense why all that happened had to happen in the first place
