I haven’t watched it full but I just wanna say that I’m sorry. I haven’t been following you for long but I’ve seen just how much you have to over explain yourself and or constantly apologize for even having to skip filming days to take care of yourself. I just hope you know that you can be yourself, I personally like it when ppl be themselves and show those sides of themselves than not and be emotionless. I just finished the episode of TWD where you mentioned you were in the ER for some time- I wanted to leave a comment in hopes you were okay but to also let you know that you’re allowed to recover if you have to. I just don’t understand the hate you get?? Like hello, you’re also a human being?? You’re going to get sick and need medical attention, you’re going to run out of fuel and need to recharge like hello??😭😭 ANYWAYS- I just hope you’re not too hard on yourself if you miss a filming day or two, I know most of us will understand that more than others. Pls rest up, do what you gotta do and I hope you especially take the time to take of yourself mentally and physically🙂‍↕️🤏 P.s. - You do an amazing job with communicating with us on YouTube, I personally have gone to your community tab to find out abt your TWD binges. First off, you don’t have to have a schedule if you don’t want to! Sheesh! People need to have patience and give grace and understand that you are only human and only have so many hours in a day to dedicate to recording and editing! Secondly, is there something in the air, cause in another community I’m in, a grown ass 44 year old had to go and get herself banned from every platform this community is on after getting warned several times! So I totally agree, it is not only teenagers doing this sort of thing! Some people just don’t understand how to word things in a manner that doesn’t hurt the person on the receiving end of the comment, and I hate to see that! Just remember, you are a lovely human and girl, you keep us fed even without a schedule! Keeping it all the way real, I think we’ve lost the plot a little bit as it relates to creators. When did we move from enjoying what people create to demanding that they give us content. I mean I understand to a certain degree on patreon you’re paying for a service, however, it’s up to you to do your due diligence and see if that creator is for you and it’s clear she doesn’t put out a content calendar and posts when things are ready. If that’s not for you don’t pay for it. Find someone who gives you a schedule but we gotta stop micromanaging creators especially for something like reactions. IT IS NOT THAT DEEP and we are not her employers so please stop giving her performance reviews.

I love how strong you are and being affected by a comment does not diminish that strength at all. We ALL have days where things hit harder than usual, regardless of age or experience. That’s actually what I do if I find creators that I like that have patreons. I look at the type of content they put out and how much of content they put out and if I don’t like what I see I’ll simply not subscribe it’s that simple. People don’t understand that constantly putting pressure on reactions makes them not want to react. Like I get that sometimes you might feel a bit let down or something if something is late or not coming but there is literally no reason to leave these types of nasty comments.

I find it funny that they said it’s weird that your mods protect you. That’s literally what mods are for. Like what else would they expect them to do. Now sometimes mods will delete comments that may have been taken out of context I’ve had it happen to myself before. But like if someone disagreed with getting a comment deleted you can either move on or message either the creator or the mod and say hey I think this was taken out of context. But you don’t need to argue about it. So crazy that they did that.

just finished watching the whole video in 2x speed, & wanted to say that i'm glad you've decided to start putting yourself first more. as a former people pleaser who has previously struggled with mental health issues (& getting diagnosed real late with adhd), i know how it feels to want to put others' and how they feel, first.. but at the end of the day, what really matters is how you yourself, are doing. even when you're reacting & trying to hide it for our sake, 9/10 times we can tell during a reaction if something is off or you aren't enjoying what you're watching. if you aren't having fun, chances are that we aren't either.. but that also means that the opposite is true. so at the end of the day, just do what makes you happy & is best for your current situation, without trying to worry too much about what we think. if you don't want to post a schedule, then don't. if you can't make an upload during a time that people might've expected it, don't worry about it & do it at your own pace. if you enjoy watching shows and movies that aren't as popular on the channel, watch it anyways as long as you have fun. even when you said you'd go back to finishing invincible/euphoria/uncanny-counter, if you end up changing your mind and not wanting to, then don't force yourself. it won't just make your reacting experience more enjoyable, but also make our experience as viewers more enjoyable too. and if you really think about it in a way; putting yourself first, can in-turn be putting us first as well.

I don't comment often (something I should probably work on and I will try to.) but... it's WILD to me the audacity of some people and the way they choose to interact with creators. It's like some of them never understood what constructive criticism is, and the difference between fact and opinion. That aside. I love your reactions, even if I'm not feeling the series/movie. Even if I choose not to watch I always tap the heart because I know others might be enjoying it. I do try to give the shows a chance though. Like From. I had heard very little about it and I knew it wasn't a show I'd willingly watch alone. You started reacting to it and I said to myself "well, at least Caitlin will be watching it too and adding her commentary so I won't feel alone." And sure enough, I've actually liked watching along with you. Also love the walking dead with your mom. I'm close to my mom too, and it's nice to see that and have her input and comments along (even though I've watched that series a ridiculous amount of times and have read the comics even more) I trust you to decide what you want to watch. And I never feel compelled to complain if you don't watch something. Sure, I do hope you finish the John Wick Movies, Sure, I do hope you'll get back to Bridgerton. But if not... I'll live. It's not the end of the world, but some people really try to make it out that way. I pay willingly for YOUR reaction. The show/series/movie/game doesn't really matter too much. But that's all just my opinion. Keep doing what you do, do it your way, and take a good rest when you need to. That's my two cents. 💜

I’m watching on 2k speed and I have watched since the beginning since u just did kpop. I paused to write this. I think u have addressed it in other videos but I forgot. You’re a people pleaser and a lot of reactors are. As well as me to a degree. It’s hard to try to go to therapy for that. I easier said than down to say to try not to please people cuzz i do the same. Also want to point out it never bothered me when u or other reactors have gone on breaks. I've never understood people like that. I'm one of those impatient people. For example, with your reactions to Duang With You, I'm constantly checking to see if you've uploaded your reaction to the next episode. And when I see you haven't, I start watching other reactions you've done because I genuinely love them. I feel understood since I always have to watch things alone. Right now, I just finished watching both seasons of "Weak Hero", "Teach You a Lesson" and right now "Twinkling Watermelon" but I didn't watch them on Netflix. I watched them for the first time with YOUR REACTIONS because I felt like I was watching them with you and I didn't feel alone. I identify with you. And even though I am impatient, I'm not going to leave comments like "where's so-and-so's reaction?" I mean, I understand that we all have lives behind the camera; we don't know what you might be going through. And I understand if it's because we're paying for reactions on Patreon, but that doesn't give you the right to disrespect someone by demanding reactions. I truly do not understand how people get so entitled when it comes to content creators. I see it a lot in the reactor space, but I also see it in every other semi-major part of YouTube that I frequent. Sure, maybe some channels have content schedules, but honestly (speaking specifically about reactor channels), I've noticed that all the channels that *do* have a schedule are either massive channels with huge post-production/editing teams, or ones where very little editing is done and/or their videos are literally just cut straight from live streams. It's like people have forgotten that the majority of YouTubers are basically running everything solo. How is a reactor supposed to react if an unexpected life event makes them unable to record videos? Anyone getting legitimately upset over someone "not posting fast enough" or "not having a schedule must have forgotten that YouTubers are *people*, and it's not like one person can possibly plan for every random event that life throws at them. All that being said, I just want to add that the effort you put into your content does not go unnoticed (by me at least). There are so many shows that I have watched - despite not being super interested in them before - simply because you reacted to them, and I know that any reaction of yours is going to be a great time. You put a lot more effort into your production and editing than most of the other reactors I've watched, and I just really enjoy seeing you get invested in shows and characters - and being loud and excited (in a good way) about things - because I'm generally very reserved with my emotions, so it's fun to get to experience shows along with your energy. Anyway, I should probably stop trying to write a short story, so I'll leave it there. Hopefully people rediscover courtesy and common sense soon, because the amount of pushback you get for just being a human is frankly ridiculous.

I like the way you manage your patreon. Sticking to a schedule can be good but sometimes can be frustrating when the promised programs don't come in time. Also you are always transparent on your time and when something pops is just fine. I am a casual subscriber and when the schedule is something I don't like much I just unsuscribe and come back when I like something. Never change something just for some people, stick to what is good for YOU. And I really wanted to say that I always loved your kpop reactions. Genuinely so confused at people demanding a schedule. You are so incredibly consistent. I almost always know when to expect an upload because you're so predictable. And if for some reason you don't upload something there's usually a video or post talking about why, or you tell us in advance that it's not going to be consistent. When you don't upload something I usually just think "oh I guess something came up, hope she's ok" AND THEN MOVE ON WITH MY DAY. Why are people SO demanding??? It baffles me I truly appreciate you and all the work you do. I know it's not really the same but I tried being an online artist for a bit and it was so hard trying to see what people wanted and responded to. You truly do not know until you put shit out there. Also I've seen a youtuber ask questions during the reactions like leave a comment if for example "would buy you that car" or leave a 💜 if your at this point of the reaction i know it helps boost the comment sections.

I find it kinda wild how people start to behave once it's anonymous. Like wdym u get so heated over a video, u start threatening or hating the creator. Almost nobody would have the balls to come up to u in real life and tell u how they really feel. And honestly I respect people that do. But for anyone else who just starts hatin under a video, keep that sht to urself man. I understand how ur expected to not care because it's known that people on socials are absolutely unhinged and say the wildest stuff. But we are still human and things like that can really hurt. Valid criticism is one thing but fully disrespecting u and ur values as a person is just too much. As an ex-creator the analytics matters so much more to us than the viewers. It's not out of greed for the majority of creators, it's time and concern. I would make videos that people requested but they would flop terribly, so I would then move to doing what I'm passionate about and use my own ideas, to which those sky rocket with attention. But then people who wanted part 2s, part 3s, etc, of videos that weren't doing well means I gain time to do what I want, but loose those reliable viewers. In a creator's POV it's so much harder to manage and create. You explained it perfectly, it's just something hard to understand when you have never done it yourself, and that's just how it'll be. They clearly wanted your attention with the "i recommend this and this and it did well", LIKE WHAT??😭 And Caitlin honey, i wanna say something, I've recently joined patreon but have been watching and following you on youtube since the start for your k-pop channel, and you've grown tremendously as a person that i admire and respect, and you are very mature for the way you handled this comment. Even tho they were so rude, you tried to find the constructive criticism in it. And when people say "don't focus on negative comments everyone recieves them" that is the dumbest thing I hear, because they are not the one on the receiving end, they don't know how much it can affect a person mentally and emotionally, and everyone takes love/hate/criticism differently. Caitlin is a real human behind the camera with emotions, ofcourse it'll affect her, and so does it affects those other channels too, some of them just don't talk it with their audience, but it affects majority of them. I follow 5 reaction channels for a long time and 4 of them talk about the negative comments they recieve every now and then, and it is A GOOD THING, THEY SHOULD. Hate comments are not something that are easy to just brush off the shoulder and throw to the side, they really stick with you. I was here typing for more than 20 minutes and then deleted like “I think this is way too long.” like a whole novel 😂 I just want to say that you’re completely right, you’re a human being, you have feelings, you’re not a robot so obviously negative comments are going to upset you in some way. While I’m sure being a content creator it’s probably a good idea to not let the negative comments affect you badly, that’s not always the case, it’s certainly not instantaneous…which should seem obvious to anyone who watches your YouTube or Patreon videos. Ever since coming across your YT channel and then subscribing to your Patreon I enjoyed your reactions very quickly because you just seem like a very kind, caring, funny, and welcoming person. So for anyone to have to audacity to come into your comment section anywhere like that is truly appalling. While I do think it’s good that you want to have this positive and “not bitchy vibe” I will agree I’m surprised you haven’t cussed anyone out yet cause even though you 1000% do not deserve them, your mom and friend definitely don’t. I haven’t seen any reactions with your friend yet, only content with your mom and what I’ve seen is that you both seem to have an amazing relationship and time together when you’re reacting to stuff together. I mean I’ve watched your old Maze Runner reactions, I’m currently in the middle of watching your Hunger games reactions, and I’ve been watching your Walking Dead reactions since you started it…you two genuinely have a good time together so for anyone to not only attack your character as a person but your family member as well is insane and uncalled for. If anything changes, then I can just stop paying. Simple as that which I think any creator would also understand. It just baffles me that random people on the internet get so pressed when they’re spending money of their own free will. Honestly I haven’t even seen that on your Patreon yet I’m just mentioning that because I’ve seen that elsewhere on other accounts. I also think it’s a good idea to react to more of what you want to react to, regardless how people feel because if you started this to have fun, you like doing it and react to “fun stuff” then you should because in the long run it’ll make you happier, less stressed and maybe you might be more willing to do more random polls or something because there won’t be all this extra pressure on you. Regarding analytics, I think for ANY streaming/on demand type of service, the million-dollar question is WHEN do you measure the results. Netflix, HBO, Patreon, even movies - if it's not an huge audience on the first showing, it's considered a failure. But that's not true and I think it's a real disservice to the creator and the product. I'm someone who rarely watches something when it's first released. I'm one of your older (age) viewers, lots going on and too many things I want to do with my free time. I watch when I can dedicate time to watch. I still haven't watched John Wick but I love that movie and I'm SO excited to watch it again with you. I'm excited to see the Aang movie (I saw the posting). you have to do what works for you! there are some creators I watch that have a schedule posted every week and they mostly stick to it, and it works for them but I don't think everyone needs a schedule posted.
