ok, damn. i’ve seen this show many times over, and i still bawl like a big ole baby when we lose Eric. And the scene where Aaron takes Gracie… just killin me! but now, i gotta prepare myself for your reaction to E4 (when it’s released) as i have only been able to see that ep in its entirety one time. it’s a hard one for me to watch. i’m actually thankful i have a few days before you release it. and even then, not sure if i’m ready. seeya over at From Eps 6 (AND apparently 7?!? Gurl!!). have a great weekend, both of you! 😘

I like the self reflection for Rick with his interaction with Morales. It shows how much Rick has changed since season 1... 'Officer Friendly' isn't so friendly anymore. Morales was right when he said they are both just two a$$holes who will do whatever it takes to stay alive. I hope Rick doesn't loose himself too much or he will end up like Morales... hopefully Rick could see that.

I feel like you could take all the lines about not killing others and give them to literally any character and it'd have the same effect.

There's a symbolic layer. Earlier in the series, the Saviors themselves took Polaroids of their victims (such as Glenn and Abraham) as gruesome trophies. Rick using a Polaroid camera echoes that imagery, but for a different purpose: instead of celebrating murder, he's documenting the progress of the war. The show deliberately invites that comparison.

I didn’t really care for Morales coming back to be honest. I think the only purpose he served was to show two different sides how they both knew each other at the start separated and ended up on opposite sides. Also I believe that Morales was actually with Glenn longer than Rick at the start before they split up…like a whole month or maybe a couple weeks IDK how they all came to be together as a group at that camp but either way it’s just crazy how little sympathy he had for Glenn being one of the people Negan killed even if Rick was with Glenn the longest. But Daryl had the right idea by also not caring about him either lol. Gregory is a coward and serves no actual purpose anymore now that Maggie has basically taken leadership of Hilltop…honestly to me Gregory is a bigger coward than Eugene imo because even though Eugene is with Negan and at least he’s smart…he knows how to stay alive with his words and he knows things which makes him valuable and useful to Negan and the saviors. Gregory tries to talk smart but everything that comes out of his mouth just sounds like BS. Things are getttingg crazy though 😅

caitlen , there is actually game for the show called the walking dead game series but its not the same story and characters as the show and also the story path of the game is built upon your choices , i really recommend it to you
