I'm excited to watch Negan grow on you one day (maybe never.. but maybe one day). Call me sick but i like him a lot (one of my Comfort Characters). But i do believe that Rick's group needed to lose someone as important as Glenn (& Abraham) to get back on the ground a little because in my opinion it was arrogant af to take on a group they never had anything to do with and killing those at least 20 strangers in their sleep. (They had families too.. so) I won't defend all the things Negan did but i also think he "had every right" to kill (only) 2 of our Group.

Rick saying to Daryl that a choke hold is illegal is a call back to one of their first interaction back in season 1. When Rick and Shane is trying to tell Daryl about Merle on the rooftop, Daryl starts to put up a fight. Rick puts Daryl in a choke hold and Daryl tells Rick that a choke hold is illegal. Great call back!

Our group definitely got too cocky. For the amount of people our group killed, we got lucky for only 2 dying.

I agree, Negan is hot!!! I like that he has layers, he isn't just a straight up, evil villain. I'm not justifying Dwight... but we know what his issue is with Daryl from Sherry's letter. Daryl reminds Dwight of who he use to be and I think it pisses him off that he broke and Daryl didn't... Daryl is like a reflection of who he should have been instead of allowing himself to fall under Negan. BTW, I love Mama G's singing... she has tones that remind me of Billie Holiday.

I agree... I mean look at all the people we killed in their sleep... and people seem ok with that... Negan took out 2 of our group and he is looked at as some big killer. I know it is more than that, but I don't think killing Glenn and Ab is what his biggest sin is... it is the way he tries to control everyone.

I’ve kind of dropped of watching but I pop in from time to time. IMO Negan was a focused storyline for too long I really dislike him but his one liners made me chuckle.

They all have killed people, no matter the reason. Rick killed at least 50-70 humans too, but its okay for many people because the others are the bad guys and we only get Rick's side. Sure, many of them were not good but still. Yes, Negan was brutal and mean about it but taking 2 (which was meant to be only 1) for losing 20+ is almost nice if you ask me. All the Characters will think of themselves as the good one...

I think Daryl is thinking differently about what needs to be done in terms of going after/getting rid of the saviors because Negan held him captive for awhile. In terms of Dwight I don’t think anyone needs to like him, and I don’t really like him. But obviously he’s wanting to help out take down Negan and he’s keeping true to his word so far so as long as he continues to do that, it’s the least he can do for everything he’s done. Also I agree with you that Gregory has to go 😂 I don’t like him and never have. It’s just wild to me how he has managed to talk himself out of situations…and he has no backbone because he folds every time he has no other choice. It’s obvious that he’s never liked Maggie because how are you gonna call her a completely different name multiple times over the course of an entire season when she told him what her name is. And of course she’s doing a better job at leading Hilltop because she’s not just going to sit back and let another community be controlled by Negan and the saviors. No one in his community agrees with his methods, he doesn’t stand up for “his people” and obviously Negan and the saviors don’t like him either. I will say that I do like when shows add characters like this only because it creates conflict, tension, and makes the story entertaining as much as it can piss a lot of people off 😂 but that’s also the whole point. This season is just sooooo good!

I think Gabriel got sick from the Walker guts they put on themselves. When they did it one of them asked if anyone's ever gotten sick from it, so i think it was that. (not sure tho)
