a random funfact!! daryl's actor norman reedus revealed that the show's director asked him early on, wether he would be up for a romantic pairing of the character he's playing with jesus. so originally, daryl and jesus were supposed to be canon!

I started watching 2 weeks ago (my first time watching), and I’m already on Season 6 😭 I watched it way too fast because I thought you had already finished the series 🥹 Now I have to be patient! I absolutely love all of your reactions, and I have to say one thing: I have a LOT of trouble with eating noises, so watching you both eat popcorn and everything was quite a challenge for me 😂😂 But I guess that shows just how much I love you both! ❤️ Love you guys, and greetings from Germany!! 💕

This show really shows how this kind of world would test the mental and emotional fortitude of anyone and everyone. Dumb choices are made, and while infuriating to watch sometimes... it just shows how good this show is. Kirkman and the the team of writers for the show did a good job of showing how people are different, think, feel, and some act on impulse, how this affects those we might pair up with in order to be safe, what safe means, what morals we're willing to ignore to protect our personal groups. The actors always do a great job and I wish the whole team won more awards for this show. Love the reactions. Even if I'm more of a silent watcher. 💜

I love that Eugene is struggling so hard with all of it. He has always been about protecting himself, being a coward and easily rolling with whatever options keep him standing.... but now, seeing how bothered he was with the image of Sasha coming out of the coffin and needing wine to dull his conscience so that he can sleep... its interesting because he is fighting his conscience against his natural instinct to stay alive. One thing I do like about him is he says the truth out loud. Many people are cowards, many people only think about themselves but they play a part and keep those things hidden.... Eugene says it how it is and how HE is. Though, he's not the easiest character to like.

I think this season definitely made me and mom a bit disappointed especially in the choices….it had felt like a huge downfall after this season BUT there’s still lots of crazy moments up ahead!

Thing about Eugene is that he’s the type of guy who will side and stay with whoever’s able to protect him because he knows he’s a coward and the only useful thing is his brain…and when Eugene was in Alexandria they weren’t treating him like he was useful, he wasn’t doing anything because everyone especially Rosita was just like “You’re a coward, you don’t do anything” which the coward part is true but I don’t think they were really allowing him to do anything. So it’s definitely annoying how quickly Eugene is all like “I’m Negan and I don’t care about my ‘traveling companions’.” But it’s not much of a surprise. He’s just doing what he knows is the best way for him to survive and I don’t necessarily blame him, but I also don’t believe him when he says he doesn’t care about the people at Alexandria I just think he knows there’s nothing he can do at this moment to really help them. He’s probably also like “Okay well if I don’t find a solution to this problem then well Negan will think I’m no longer useful and he’ll kill me.” Honestly his character doesn’t really bug me as much as the way he talks does 😂😂😂

You guys are absolute troopers getting through this! It's a LONG show and season 8 is a particularly hard watch imo. It's my least favorite season and I'm pretty sure it's amongst the worst rated seasons. Really looking forward to watching y'all react to season 9 and beyond. As someone who stopped watching around this point during the show's original run, I was pleasantly surprised with season 9, 10, and 11 when I finally did a rewatch! It's different, but for me it was welcome after what season 7/season 8 put us through!

And the idea floated was simply Daryl have a gay storyline. it was years before Jesus was even on the show so it was never intended to be actually Jesus. that was a fan driven thing

I love that even though you didn’t too much care for Abraham but every time you mention Glenn you mention him also. his death was very overshadowed by Glenn’s death and I didn’t too much care for him either but people don’t really talk about him when it comes to their deaths.
