13:32 think this is a common sentiment by the audience, the cast is stuck in a mystical town were monsters haunt/torture/play with them basically. So everyone needs to believe anything someone tells them tbh.

ELGIN, ELLIS, FATIMA all could have died taking ELLIS to KRISTI these monsters and the town playin a cruel joke for sure ----36:37 maybe the town makes certain people see things when they want to. Like yeah maybe VICTOR could have seen BOYDS arm worms but someway somehow people who weren't desperate enough to believe and see probably couldn't see them, dealing with ELLIS they were in a high adrenaline/desperate state .....GIRL I REALLY DONT KNOW a lot is still confusing but I still love this show despite the frustration many of the characters sometimes give me

I love this episode. Namely the situation about killing one of those monsters. When I saw this for the first time I was in shock so much 🫨Loved your reaction to this moment Also, if Ellis hadn’t been stabbed, they wouldn’t have believed Boyd and wouldn’t have found out that they could kill a monster (though it’s still complicated procedure 😅)

I get this idea but it does not work in practice. some people are intertwined with the place and actually seeing visions and hallucinations ect due to the mystical nonsense going on while other have genuinely lost their minds due to the stress. think of Elli's mom. that wasn't the place pulling tricks on her she just broke. due to the nature of many of the visions its hard from an outside perspective looking in to deduce yeah this is the place messing with you or yeah your losing it. but tbh if i was kristi i wouldve been believed boyd. hes not the type to break and given her medical training she herself has said his disease wouldnt be presenting itself in dementia yet or at all so idk what her deal was.
