Well the season is over! honestly this show was a gem! I think with all of these romance shows coming out this one really stands out. I did enjoy watching it with you guys!

Exactly this like it just feels so authentic! Every time Annie goes on her rants I think to myself how much she sounds like an actual teenager the dialogue is too good

Annie dad was in love and didn't understand why the womann he love , the mother of her children was not happy with their life. He tried to give her space to figure it out, but in the end she end up cheated on him and divorce him. then come the chock. Why did I do to make her make this decision, why I'm not enough for her, it's because I can't give her children by blood, why she want to leave me, how can I fix this. In the end this thought just push him appart and become torture him, so instead feel this way, he just remove the guilt his was feeling and convinced himself that it's was because of the island, Gordon the dad of Annie or even Joe, just to stop thing little about himself, erase his guilt and sorrow and stop thinking that his was all his fault. Did he do something bad by hiding this letters ?, absolutely, but I don't think his the worst dad or men or husband. Just a human being who did something bad, because he was himself not good. P.S : Even if I tried to tell me the same thing about Joe, him and Annie mom cheated on their partners knowing they will hurt them and that there were children involved.

I never said he was the worse dad or man. He just needed to understand he also hurt his kids even if it was unintentional. Annie was literally telling him SHE had to be the adult her whole life. I think holding him accountable is not wrong.

i completely agree with u on the oona and ramona situation!! oona's avoidant attachment issue is really bad.. she really needs to deal with that somehow because it's ruining her relationship with ramona and can even affect her friendships as well. ramona's trying to fix it at the end of the argument and she's just brushing her to the side and it's pretty disrespectful towards ramona who's trying to fix something. they do need to break up tho because they need to figure out their own situations. ramona needs to see new york and explore that relationship with her dad, which is a big thing. Oona needs to heal likeee badddd.

I've seen the actor of Ellis (Jacob) say that he's also realized how boring Ellis comes off (i kinda see it but also not to the extent some fans do) and he really wants the next season to touch more on his personality and show some depth in his character. I hope that ends up happening because I feel like we need more of him!!

for sure and the conversation with Ramona in the bathroom when Annie braids her hair, that scene for me really solidified how realistic the dialogue was it just really reminded me of my sister and i, even tho we're not exactly like that but idk that scene just really hit me it was AMAZING

Ramona being 16 changes things for me. I had no idea she was that young but that does make more sense when it comes to her being so upset that Annie, once again, broke a promise she made to Ramona. That's why you can't just make promises like that and especially with someone that young who already feels alone, lost and like no one is in her corner. And poor Annie is a bonafide people pleaser.
