i hear what you're saying at the end girl, as much as i'm LOVING this show (action & comedy are my favorite genres, this hits both at the right times) the writers are PISSING ME OFF!!! kdramas love their damn cliffhangers. i think maybe the point (besides wanting to generate more buzz and drive viewer retention up) is to show how far this man is willing to go for his daughter, especially after his late wife's final wish was for him to forget everything and center his entire universe around minji. family must mean so much more to him as well, going from having none in the north to starting one of his own in the south.
