That line from Lestat is so over the top. He's funny as hell for that scream but it's his own fault. He cheated on Louis then imposed an "open relationship" which Louis forced himself to accept because he was so depressed and dealing with an eating disorder. Then he got mad at Louis for doing the same. Can't put his money where his mouth is at all!

I feel the same in regard to watching depictions of racism. As important as the history is to display and to be honest about, as a black woman its extremely uncomfortable and sometimes even draining and infuriating to watch over and over. You're absolutely valid in feeling that way.

Guaranteed these would be the same people turning around and calling you out for not relating or empathizing with another character they love. Can't roll my eyes hard enough dude.
