I mean listen y’all not wrong…Negan’s done some terrible things but he is super funny 😂 his commentary is just wild. And Daryl and Carol have been best friends for years at this point, he’s no dummy and can easily catch on to when she’s up to something. He obviously knew Carol planned to kidnap one of the Whisperers once he saw those zip ties.

Caitlin, I get it trust me, but he literally straight up said “It’s not like that with her.” and then Carol says “Really?” And Daryl says “Not at all.” So yes, Daryl did deny it; what he couldn’t answer was why, he evaded that. In reference to Connie. I feel for Sidiq, and poor Rosita being sick like that. This whole illness is giving me better prepared season 4 sickness. Eugene and Blue Weavel (she does have a name that gets revealed but spoilers and such)!!!!! 🤭 Negan having a pissing match with Beta is the most HILARIOUS thing. The names he comes up with for Beta ugh I’m literally dead I can’t it’s too funny. 🤣🤣 THE DARYL AND CAROL OF IT ALL!!!!! Their moments were so sweet and then not so. How he is legit watching her and makes the decision to go with her, because he KNOWS something is up but also wants to be around if she does something stupid. Carol, you can literally lie to ANYONE but Daryl, you should know that. THE ACORN GAME!!! THE DOUBLE CAPPER!!! That scene was so stinking cute. I love how Carol thinks she knows but she doesn’t know. The way he straight up says that he’s not into Connie, and honestly I believe him when he says it because I feel like, to at least Carol, he wouldn’t hide that. Anyone else I would say sure, but Carol he’s telling the truth. He dead ass looked Carol in the eye and said “it’s not like that” and “not at all.” But then he gets all evasive and drops eye contact when Carol asks why?? I don’t know if it’s because I ship Daryl and Carol more than I do Daryl and Connie (I’m a multi shipper), but if he’s so willing to say no then why can’t he say why, at least to Carol. It’s so funny Daryl knowing they shouldn’t goes along with her plan on his terms because they’re the ones that are stupid enough. Daryl’s patience with Carol the whole time, even when she captures that guy and had lied earlier, their love for each other (whether you ship it or not), especially on his end this season, speaks volumes. I absolutely adore Daryl and Carol.🥰🤗🫠

Negan is a big nuisance but at least now he's not our nuisance lmaoooo. I'm enjoying him so much with the whisperers, the juxtaposition between him not taking anything seriously and the whisperers taking everything TOO seriously is hilarious to watch. That last entrance was incredible I can't even lie. It's so funny that Alpha is clearly impressed but even she's like "baby you gotta shut that damn mouth of yours"

That wasn't Daryl denying it, he was just refusing to admit it and let anyone in. That's why when Carol asks why and says theres not many good people like her left, he doesn't have an answer. It's almost him having a realisation of "Maybe I can have this". It's clear he feels things for Connie, we have never seen him act like this with anyone on the show at this point, and as the episodes go on, we see why he is so reluctant to open up. Daryl and Connie was 100% being set up, but Lauren had to take a break to film eternals, so it put a halt on things. The showrunner even admitted this. You can ship whoever you want, thats the beauty of this show, but Daryl and Carol were never going to be a thing romantically, as stated many times by show runners, writers and Norman and Melissa themselves. Their friendship and brother/sister bond is one of the most beautiful and heartwarming parts of this show. Progressing it to anything else would've been weird.
