this episode is always a hard watch, Lestat is absolutely an abuser and what he did to Louis and Claudia is unforgivable even if we love his dramatics. there is no hero in this story, and you are absolutely correct the show in and of itself is a tragedy

I also absolutely love you picking up on Louis possibly not being a reliable narrator during the interview, different perspectives and memories are a huge theme throughout the show!

The sister/brother scene made me cry. 😢 💔 I sympathize with the sister. After he lost his anger and blew her doors in and left the baby on the floor I personally would be fearful as well. She got to protect her family esp kids. I think if she only had herself to think about she’d stay close to Louis
