rosita IS that girl. The way people trash her because she's been with four guys on screen in the span of 9 years is crazy, and Siddiq & Spencer were just casual flings/hookups. People gotta leave my girl alone.

I think the issue is you will never please everyone. I'm on the exact same wave as you, that they don't need big deaths all the time to push the story. Sure it makes for shocking moments, but you do feel that wasted potential after their deaths and it's all a little solemn. You'd be surprised though, that a large percentage of the audience want more death as they feel it adds more stakes. I'm not fully against it, but I don't need main characters to die to create that impact for me.

I’m sick how they did Sadiq💔.

Thank you guys for sticking with the show. I really do enjoy you and your mom together and listening to your reactions. I just wanted to put something in your mind a little bit about the show because I can understand why you feel like people die just for shock value and that the show has been going on for so long so it’s like pointless deaths, but one thing to consider is that the whole show itself isn’t just about the core characters, it’s about all of the characters. The show is about people in general and it wants the audience to ask the question who do you become when you’re put into this situation? Where there is no world, no law, no nothin. Everything you knew is gone so, who are you? Who do you become and how do you cope with all the different things that would happen? It gives perspective from different views of how people choose to cope. For example Negan and the Governer, they all thought their way of life was the way and anybody that didn’t agree with them or they couldn’t get on their side became their enemies. I also agree that some of these deaths just feel so awful and it really makes you upset and sad, but I think that was the point of the writing. They want you to become attached to the characters, that’s how they’re telling the story, they can’t tell the story if you don’t feel anything for the characters.

Siddiq was genuinely done soo dirty. But yeah the biggest issue again was that the fans were genuinely tired of deaths and losing their favorite characters, but in a show surrounding death all the time, they did kind of just have to start doing the constant side character killing and it was just annoying because every character that dies turns into a Beth situation where its like, alright let's build this character for like, 6 episodes and then kill them off so we don't have to kill off main cast. So they were genuinely fighting two sides of a coin, one side wanted more death and hated the plot armor the main cast had while the other side was sick of seeing characters die at all.

I feel like a common pattern in this show, whenever they focus on a specific character a lot in one episode there’s a few ways the episode could go. The big one is they plan on killing the character off, the character is leaving the show (still alive), they’re trying to showcase their backstory or that specific episode revolves around driving the overall plot forward. I have some PTSD with this show when it comes to mostly showing characters in a specific episode because I’m thinking “here we go, they’re about to kill this person off.” Also more to a point that you made I will say Siddiq’s death in particular PISSED me off because you’re I felt the same way that Carl died so that he could save Siddiq and have him live. Siddiq dying basically voids Carl’s death and makes it pointless. AND they killed off Carl because they didn’t want to pay him as an adult…allegedly. I mean the actor for Carl legitimately bought a house nearby the set so he’d be closer to filming while he was going to school so sounds to me like he had zero idea they planned to kill his character off. But yeah overall this episode is really sad for Siddiq to just see him struggling with this PTSD and to not even get any sort of closure or any type of comfort or happiness before his death. Just sad. I also feel bad for Lydia because while I do agree the way that Carol used her is not the same as how Alpha would use Lydia at the end of the day she still used Lydia rather than just asking for her help. If I was her I would feel betrayed too.

The water lever was set to undrinkable but it was forcefully bent over to make to look like it was set to drinkable while it wasnt

Ya, this show isn't about the characters... it is about the apocalypse and how people survive... or don't. Everyone lives until they don't... it isn't about the pure survival of someone, it is their story.

Korivex

Also, I find a lot of people don't care about someone until they die. People complained endlessly about Carl until he died... then it was a big uproar about how great he was and so important to the show.

Korivex

Please realize that even in an apocalypse we would have access to toothbrushes and eyebrow tweezers.... toothpaste, not so much but we don't need toothpaste to have white teeth.... there is even plants that are used for that purpose.

Rosita is slowly becoming one of my favorite characters. I feel like they wasted so much time with her at the beginning by not giving her lines cause look at how good this episode was! A lot of people don't like how angry she was after Abraham died but that's when she started feeling like a real person to me. I love who she's become

Daniela V.

I think it's because of the formula the writers use where they only give a character lines right before they're about to die. A lot of these actors aren't getting the chance to show their skills until the very end and understandably people are like "wow I actually really like this character, the actor is so good" and then boom they're gone

Daniela V.

What I think people want is consistency. You've got characters like Daryl, Carol, Rick, and Negan with infinite plot armor doing all sorts of action sequences where they should be seriously injured or killed but then Micheal B, the baker gets stung by a bee and dies. It feels like consequences only exist for side characters and that's so annoying to watch some times Edited to add: I'm not advocating for killing more main characters btw but Daryl literally got shot when the whole negan thing happened and we never spent time acknowledging that. He just brushed it off! Give me Daryl in a bed getting taken care of while he heals! Give me consequences!

Daniela V.

You know what's high-key pissing me off about this episode? WHY ARE WE NOT TELLING PEOPLE ITS THE WATER THATS MAKING EVERYONE SICK???? Aaron saw it happening and tells no one, Siddiq saw the water was not safe and told no one! Why is no one contacting Eugene about this????

Kim Magee

I can't wait to see the reaction to. I think it's episode 9. I'm not going to say what but you will know when you see it

Kim Magee

They kill off core characters of the show because there is shock value but certain characters wanted to go at least for a while, the good thing is they're very good at giving you new characters to love like a certain fluffy jacket woman which you have finished watching the show. so you probably know who I'm talking about. not in the show yet of course

Daniela V.

Lmaoooooo I just saw someone say that Carl's death wasn't for nothing because Siddiq got to fool around with Rosita 💀💀

momo.goma

The ending was crazyy!

Joy

I liked Saddiq I was hoping they kept him longer.
