BTS IN THE SOOP EPS 5 PART 2

This "Blue and Gray" is the demo version that Tae wrote for his mixtape before he submitted it for the "BE" album! The boys were in the process of producing the album during this time, and they liked his song so much. Tae's version had English lyrics :) Also, Jungkook talks to himself all the time...Namjoon does too. You'll notice this a lot when they are given a job or task to do, lol!

Taehyung was playing "his" version of Blue and Gray. Its a demo and at that time BE hasnt been released yet so when this episode aired, armys became emotional because of the lyrics. Here is what it says before the official version on BE: Where's my angel? I'm sick and tired of everything Someone come and save myself Cause I can't take it anymore Everywhere I go, everywhere I see Can you look at me and say I'm looking free Every time I cry every time I smile Can you look at me 'cause I'm blue and grey? Every time I cry every time I smile Can you look at me 'cause I'm blue and grey? I just wanna be happier Baby don't let me go I feel tired in the winter sky Wish I could be stronger...

Isabel

Hi Caitlin :) yess this version of Blue and Grey is the version he was working on for his mixtape, not finished version, just him singing and is all english. When they decided to use the track for BE Namjoon translated the lyrics to korean <3

Minji Kim

I always look forward to your in the soop reactions caitlin :) it's already so peaceful to watch but it feels like I'm watching it with a friend so it's even more fun

I believe Yoongi was working on Telepathy when he was in the camper van. :)

I hope Tae adds his original Blue & Grey to his mixtape!! I need both versions!!

DanielleM

Omg, but why does Jimin low key sound like an auctioneer when he was rapping here! Lmao!

Laura Diaz

When Joon and Hobi are talking to each other while singing, they're singing Dreamglow, their song from the BTS World soundtrack.

Amaris

I would love to hear Tae's version of Blue and Gray as it was originally written all in English for his mixtape. What we can hear here sounds sooo beautiful. Certainly puts paid to all those fans who say the reason BTS don't write deep lyrics for English songs is because they can't. Excuse me, don't put my boys in a box!

Why it’s not working? ;( I cannot see most of your reactions ☹️☹️☹️

JoY

Yup 😊 like everyone said in the soop was filmed before BE album was even released. Blue & grey was originally for Tae's mixtape & it was actually all in English. So the members all really loved it and they released it on the BE album with korean lyrics in it. I do hope he releases his version in SoundCloud/ his mixtape. HOBI is just like that he cares alot and he makes sure the members are eating well & wear warm clothes so they don't get sick. Also hobi & jimin have been roommates for a long time . So he knows how jimin is ...a bit messy 😂. Wait....have you seen Tony Montana jimin? JK is such a cutie he does have a habit of talking out loud . 🥺 Next episode is one of my fave because I just love all the interactions all the members have with each other. *I accidentally deleted my original comment so I had to write this again 😫

Note to self, don’t watch Caitlin’s reactions while doing makeup. Girl, you had me crying!! 🤣🤣 I so look forward to them though. I love ya!!

Angela

I luv watching with uuuuuuu!!! <3

L.S

AHHHHHH. Seriously the day you post an in the soop or a run is my favorite day ever. Cant wait for run eps 87-88 💀 and till bon voyage 🛫 😆

L.S

ITS WHITE FISH MEAT ITS OKAY I PROMISE. I’ve actually gutted salmon and white fish now THOSE are gross. Thankfully flatfish have like no guts lmao (but no joke get you a man who can do all that and get you them organic fresh meats and fish haha)

corey

girl i was eating chips lol. i choked when you saw that shot of jk, i choked again when you heard yoongi making those noises, but at least i'd learned enough to stop eating after that one so i was safe when you had to pause for that rant on the attractiveness of park jimin😂😂

RWBYfan6788

Now you see why ARMY has a kink for Yoongi's hands 😏😜 As others were saying, that was the demo for V's version of Blue and Grey. If you watch their vlives, they'll usually play the demo version, Namjoon especially.

Han Naing

Caitlin, I enjoy your reactions. Just wanna ask when The Kingdom reactions are coming up? Thanks

Hopefully next week! This week was crazy with muster so I haven’t be able to get my sleep but there should be a reaction next week! 💜

Dale La Dell

Honey, why do you keep asking who they're talking to? They're talking to themselves and to us. They're on camera 24/7. It would be boring for us watching them if they never said anything and they know this so they kind of keep up a running commentary of what they're doing and thinking for us. I think it's hysterical too, but they've been doing it for so long that it's second nature to them now. The things that come out of their mouths sometimes have me rolling on the floor laughing.

Lol I don’t have a problem with them when they do that….Obviously I’ve been dying from laughter when they open their mouths. I guess I just wasn’t used to it because I couldn’t see anyone around them when they did that but I understand it’s for the show and us.. this is my first show of them so I wouldn’t know that this is second nature to them which is probably why I asked who they were talking to.

Miss P

First time I watched this, I was baby BABY army. It's nice rewatching and recognising the Kareoke songs!

Kaylarnie Te Kahu

every time i watch this episode with you i laugh at how them filleting the fish grosses you out i 4get that for some this isnt a normal thing but where i grew up in NZ we went fishing and filleted our fish all the time so i always find it funny when people are so shocked by it where as when i watch it i talk to them through the screen like ahh no you have to do it this way or you gotta start at belly and stuff like that its great to see different POV tho.
