Not gonna lie, watching their old videos always make me teary eyed. My forever happy place :')

minoaijima

Thank you Caitlin for reacting to SHINee's live stages! It's true that some of their live stages were a little...questionable, but no question that they're still very much enjoyable 😁 As someone who just loves SHINee very much, seeing you enjoy their music and performances, as well as hearing you say that their music inspires you fills me with so much warmth. Thank you for appreciating them so much! ❤ I hope you can discover more of SHINee's music and their other content too, whenever you are ready. Especially their ballads! I get the feeling you'd love them as well. (Also side note, I freaked out when you mentioned that Iris performance of Goo Goo Dolls, because I knew what it was and let me tell you, that performance had me on a chokehold way back!! 😆 Gosh, the memories. That concert overall holds a special place to my heart to this day)

H Almu

You need to check out more shinee lives! I recommend why so Serious swc5 and Romeo and Juliette swc5

Emily Grace

TBH anything from their SHINee World IV concert is spectacular. The Excuse me miss, Dynamite and Sherlock performances you watched are all from that. From the same concert, Stranger would be my next recommendation, then Woof Woof if you want to smile, and Replay if you want to cry (in a good way!).

Arlungoo Luna

🥹🥹🥹 I watched this reaction idk 4th or 5th time, while waiting patiently for Caitlin to react to more live stages of them 🤍 And sharing my fav stages Shinee - Stranger 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 https://youtu.be/WXKRiAHzvi0 Shinee - An encore (legendary ballad of them) https://youtu.be/h3i_yVMsAiY Shinee - love love love (live with orchestra🥹 it’s gonna make you cry) https://youtu.be/_himNReRPOA Taemin - Sexuality (omg all time fav stage of him 🔥🥵) https://youtu.be/28l5gg7tSB0 Taemin - Move / Dream Concert live stage 2018 (legendary rainy stage) https://youtu.be/Xgr-UjOpGrE Onew - Rainy blue (his first ever stage after his vocal cord surgery. Original singer of this song had same surgery but he lost his iconic voice. That’s why this performance was soo meaningful) https://youtu.be/d6n_ktuItAk Jonghyun - Y si fuera Ella (take your time if you’re not ready to begin his musical journey 💎 I really love this performance) https://youtu.be/BDb02isPFc0 Hoope you enjoy them Caitlin, love you 🫧🫧🫧

Neo Wave

This is like the 20303993th time seeing this reaction but I come back always 😂

thereseA

i revisit this video like once a month

Trish Forstner

I remember watching a livestream of the Concert where Key sang Born to Shine and he was live messaging on bubble and he said "I really lost my mind in that performance". I laughed harder than I should have. I still think about that girl...I hope she's OK and that she's happy...Couldn't be me. no way.

Abby Quay

There is a before and after for Shawols where it concerns specific songs/performances. Excuse me Miss, Dynamite and Born to Shine are definitely on that list 🤣 Revisiting this reaction because it's so much fun.

Phoebe Yuu

New patron here coming for SHINee! hehe. I really love your reaction. And I laugh out loud when it's Born to Shine and you said "I got a warning that it is REALLY BAD." *proceed to change the setting to highest resolution* loooool

Jinki Lee

Thank you so much for your SHINee reactions. I suscribe to Patreon specifically to watch your reactions to them and I watch all of them several times. Please react to Ring ding dong and Lucifer live from SHINee World V, I promise you that you would love it 😍

RachelLB

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Cant wait to watch 👍😂

Stephanie

I always hoped you’d find time! 😍

Bruna Czyrik

AAAAAAAAAA THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. YOU ARE THE BEEEEEST!

Hannah

I too don't really stan shinee as I've never had the time to really deep dive into them, but I can confidently say, as a multi-stan of SOOOO many groups, that they are truly THE BEST performers in Kpop fr. Just from these performances alone you can see that they are truly unmatched in my opinion. When you eventually do a guide and everything, I will 100% be on board lmao. Thanks for the reactions this weekend!! Rest well!!

pr37

ahahahaha Im dying at your reaction to Minho in Dynamite

Andrea Carolina Yanes Guerra

thank u so much for this!!! and same girl, i look up to Taemin's Hate everything as well when i miss him T___T

Luna

Thank you for the reaction and I’m glad that you enjoyed the performances 💗

Carlaae21

Thank you so much for thiiiis, i'm a nctzen ,but my ult group is shinee, since 2012, so happy that you like my boys 😭💖, if you like to hear more of them, i recomend you to listen to the ODD álbum, in your own time of course, thank you again, greeting all the way from Chile 💓

Stephanie

SHINee are just really special. Really, really special. I can’t imagine many vocalists in any genre except jazz just deciding to scat on stage like Jonghyun. Also I’m sorry you got a heart attack because nobody warned you, but your reaction to Minho taking off his shirt might be my favourite moment out of all your reactions. For live stages I’ll recommend this one by Onew. You loved the emotional song that Taemin did and this is also super emotional. This is one of the first performances that Onew did live after recovering from vocal surgery. It’s by a Japanese performer who also had a vocal surgery, but unlike Onew, wasn’t able to sing again after it. It also features Taemin playing the piano. Rainy Blue - https://youtu.be/BS7kfGD1KYU .

NC

hi caitlin! ive been a shinee stan since 2009 (more than half my life) & its just so crazy how your reactions make me appreciate them even more wow they were always my ult so im very excited to see you enjoy their stages to the max hehe thank you for sharing your experience!!

Kiana

It’s so great seeing you freak out over them omg that was me when I first discovered them like a year ago, they’re the group that got me into Kpop they’re amazing. Rainy blue is a good stage to check out, it’s a ballad sung by onew after he recovered from throat surgery and it’s very emotional, Taemin accompanies him on piano. (Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/BS7kfGD1KYU) Odd eye is a great group stage as well, I’ll see if I can add links later. It’s a slower song and kinda sexy, everyone shines in it imo(also, key in an eyepatch 👀) (Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/pPp9da0-Q_E) Also Woof Woof is a cute but pretty chaotic one, very musical theatre (https://youtu.be/o_SZm2C5Fvw). There’s a bunch more but I’m sure others will recommend them 😂

omggg yes! I love these stages too + STRANGER, EVIL, and ORGEL as well (iconic!) ❤ SHINee live stages are my favorite thing ever! They always delivers! 🔥

Wylde 1

SHINee really are just so special, I've been lucky to have some long time shawols guiding me to learn about them as I've gotten into them more. Taemin's one of my ults, I adore him so much. The Hate Everything stage was so good, Kai in the background quietly reassured Taemin after his mistake he made and said he was cute haha. Love those twos friendship, they're so sooooo close.

hope

I think watching live stages with you is becoming my favourite thing to do haha that was so fun!!!! <3 <3

shauni

This was amazing!! My ult group and my fave reactor🫶 Shinee is known for being amazing live, not just with their theatricality and dancing but with the live vocals as well, there’s videos of stage crew being really shocked at how clear their voices are!

Mel

This makes me so happy! SHINee got me into Kpop, after seeing Minho in a drama in 2018. Lol! It was after watching their live stages that I finally understood what the Kpop craze was all about. On the other hand, since they were my first, I have been spoiled and am now always looking for vocals before I can appreciate other groups. 😅

ByunGogh

I just went and watch the Goo Goo Dolls performance you mentioned and wow, it hit me so hard, it definitely is up there for greatest performances I've seen. Iris is one of those songs that just hits right, and is so good no matter how many times I hear it! Loved the reaction, SHINee deserves so much recognition for their talent and stage presence!! <3<3<3

Isa

Thanks so much for the reaction Caitlin!!! SHINee was one of the first groups I got into when I started listening to Kpop and I love them so much!! You might have recognized Sherlock from Game Caterers x Hybe, they played it during the random dance play and Taehyun started dancing right away <3 Have a great week!!

corey

omg THANK YOU so much, this reaction made my heart so happy, i can't even tell you🥰 seeing how excited you got took me back to the first time i saw these performances, and that was a long damn time ago lmao, so that's really something special. and thanks for sharing those personal favorites with us! i know exactly what you mean about that taemin performance of 'hate everything,' it just feels so intimate and honest. (only 142 days😭 until we get him back😭) also 'iris' was one of the first songs to hit me on such a deep level that it made me cry without even knowing why lol, i was literally 11 years old and tearing up like 'wtf??'🤣 p.s. i'm so, so genuinely excited for you to really get into shinee, but the only way it can mean anything is if you do it in your own time and enjoy it! they've been great for 14 years already, they'll continue to be great for many more, and the content will always be there. please just take your time and enjoy yourself💜

tackylovesong

So many good recs in here. Great job shawols! And I'm overjoyed seeing so many people say SHINee was their gateway into Kpop. Caitlin thanks for fitting this in and can't wait for when you can really fall down their rabbithole.

tackylovesong

Still watching but came to comment - YES @ Excuse Me Miss being first. That stage to me is just quintessentially Jonghyun. Like if asked to define him by performance it would be one of the first things I pick because he was in his element in a way that is definitive of how I think of him. I never grow tired of it though at this point I've probably seen it a few dozen times.

mel liz

You will love SHINee Acoustic Medley, Caitlin! SHINee ballads are top tier too - Selene 6.23 or Sleepless Night

Lelja Hamisha

shinee is one of the few groups where they sound even better live than the studio version. they're incredible!!

kakemp

Taemin Soldier & Rise https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeuRsJSZWMs, Jonghyun Moon (one of my favorite Jonghyun songs, but the performance is a lot...) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozpcEBQ-j4g, Key Helium https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Avv57vsaAMg, Onew Rainy Blue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6n_ktuItAk and Minho I'm Home (not sure if there's a better video of this somewhere) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lt15lZ-tFAA. Anything you choose to react to from SHINee would be amazing! Stay healthy ❤

Lelja Hamisha

kibum's stage presence is insane! Very excited for you to check out more shinee stages! yaaay

spideywoo

if you want suggestions I suggest Prism, Chocolate, Odd Eye, Picasso, Love, Selene 6.23, Woof Woof and Romeo + Juliette! To be honest every single live stage is iconic but these are some of my favs

Mimi

Caitlin! OMG, when you mentioned Iris by Goo Goo Dolls, I screamed because that’s one of my favorite performances of all time! Seriously though, SHINee is THE group that tickles my musical bone. They have such an incredible discography that touches so many flavors of music. May I suggest you check out a couple of performances that I think will showcase their vibrancy - it’s a mix of Jack swing, R&B soul, musical, ballad, and more.
