Mok Jin hadnt developed his feeling toward Boyoeng when he first posted the Dear M post. Dear M posts were meant for his research as u can see at the end. He is a psychology major so him posting the confession posts is to study how the students in the university react to the posts. its like an unexpected twist bcs we all wished Minho would be the Dear M. afterall, he was the one who sent the confession post to the radio station, so mr 87802 is a romantic guy indeed.

i also agree with u that jaehyun's best scenes were those with his sister. i would like to commend his acting skill during the wedding speech. as a first timer, the pacing the intonation the emotion he gave during the scene were excellent. his hand was even shaking when he read the letter to his noona. i also loved his chemistry with ma jooah, their banters were cute and jaehyun was natural when he was being playful with her. i personally think jaehyun excels in serious and sad scenes, his subtle expressions when hes sad were impressive. its been 2 yrs since he acted in dear m, hope he will act again and get better in acting. he got potentials so it would be nice to see him in more dramas. thanks caitlin for supporting him, its been fun rewatching Dear M with you.

It was such a joy to watch the show with you. I love your reaction so much, feel like watching it with a friend, who was really invested in every ep 😊😊 I love all the scenes between Minho and his sister. His emotional speech to his sister at the wedding made me tear up. love Jaehyun's acting in this scene he did really good, it felt too real. The singing scene with ma jooah is also one of my fav scenes too. Their harmony was just so good. The ending was kinda rushed for me too, i want to see more post- confession scenes between minho and joo ah. A lighthearted drama about college students like DearM is a great start for our actor jaehyun. I wish jaehyun will have more acting opportunities in the future to showcase his acting skills. I still remember i was so excited for jaehyun to choose dearM as his first drama and to play a college student bc he never got to experience that and he told fans in a radio program what major he’d be in if he went to university so im glad that he got to see a small glimpse of uni life even if it’s just for a drama.🥺🥺 Thank you for all the fun contents. Wish you a happy holiday and all the best with your studies.

To add on to what the above posts said, if you remember the 87802 radio episode, Mok Jin was super confused about "Dear.M" sending in a letter to the station...bc HE is Dear.M. That's when I knew Mok Jin was probably the actual poster. The way he asked about it had me squinting in suspicion. 😂 Jaehyun made it known at the end of this episode to Joo Ah that the radio dj's just assumed his 87802 letter was Dear.M and the station rolled with it. About the timing of the love confessions, I've been an avid kdrama watcher for a few years now and I prefer them not to happen until the episodes are in the double digits/end of the drama. Like any other media, there's a high chance the show ends up losing the angst/tension and good banter between the love interests from the earlier episodes of the season as soon as they're together.

omg i agree with what u said in ur last paragraph. dramas that usually make the couples finally end up together mid series would slowly make the drama boring imo. that happened to me when i watched Business Proposal like theres no more tension and nothing to look forward. but for Dear M it wouldve been great if they had at least one ep for post-confession minho and joo ah to see how their relationship blossoms as a couple. i saw previews of them holding hands where jooah was wearing yellow but that scene didnt make it into the cut sadly.

hi caitlin. i'm really glad that you enjoyed this show and i enjoyed watching it with. if you like this show, i really think you will like a show on Viki called True Beauty. Its a about a girl who was bullied for her looks then she find makeup and it changed her life. It stars Cha Eunwoo from Astro who is also good friends and apart of the '97 liners with Jaehyun. You should react to it on the patreon or you can watch it on your own.. totally up to you.
