League is VERY big in Korea, especially the team in black T1. One of their players, Faker, is considered the greatest esports athlete of all time, so having New Jeans there too made this event insanely big for Korea

Tyler Wilson

League of Legends has had a lot of collabs with kpop groups and idols. Which all have been amazing.

yay this was such a fun opening ceremony thanks for the reaction :D worlds always tries to be as huge as possible and the song definately works! fun fact: on of the players of the team that won (keria form t1) said on a stream that he made eye contact with one of the girls during the opening and that why they won xD so yeah the players are fans too hehe
