Well, uh, Microsoft Word uninstalled itself from my computer, as has every other microsoft app other than OneNote, for some reason. I'm somewhat annoyed, and am writing the next chapter on freaking notepad. Slight delays, but it'll be out today.

I'm still mooching off my dad's liscense since it gives us 5 copies and there are only 3 of us in my family, so no point wasting money. I actually called him up and it turns out he's having trouble with Office as well, so I suspect that's where my problem has come from. It also turns out you can't actually read a word document without microsoft word... notepad can't decode it, which is fun. I am now writing in google docs.

I'd recommend trying to find and buy an old version of Microsoft Word. I wish I had a source for you, but I bought my copy years ago and have been transferring it around to my latest pc for a long time.

You know what, I totally forgot you could buy old versions of microsoft word. I'll have to do that, I'm really not a fan of the subscription service at all.

I'd kinda recommend using Google docs. It is free and since it is cloud synced you can access your stuff from any computer. I end up using it quite a bit when writing up stuff since it makes it nigh impossible to lose the files.

I am considering it for sure. Unfortunately, even with the amount of trouble that word causes me, I still love the interface (particularly the other apps that I have to edit in word, like StyleWriter).
