[COMIC] Toji & Mamaguro first meeting <3 (process) (Patreon)

SO! As someone making a comic for the first time… it’s WAY harder than I thought!

I don’t usually consider myself a slow artist, but today I kept getting stuck on the simplest things and it frustrated me a lot :с. I resized the canvas three times, redrew the panel borders also three times (and I’m still going to redo them again don't ask why lol). Spent forever looking for a brush that actually fits the comic vibe and helps to work more efficient. Tweaked the layout settings in the program and watched tutorials like "WHY MY RULER DOESN'T WORK" lol hahahahah

Honestly, there are a THOUSAND differences between making a comic and doing a regular illustration. Why did no one warn me? Anyways, I’m not giving up. Hehe. I enjoy this struggle.

So! I finished the sketch of the whole comic, but I’m not happy with how it looks (it’s sooo messy and unreadable lol), so for now I’ll just share the lineart of the first page, so you can smile a little at how handsome Toji is, and I can feel proud of at least something!

Next time I’ll try to upload the whole story hehehe! xoxo!
