I'm just curious what keane's "direct approach" will look like. Eventhough onyx gave him that advice, after what happened in the shower scene and what's been happening with his anxiety, I wonder how onyx will react to it. I hope keane asks for them to have a talk and I hope onyx will actually take him up on it and listen.

I love how despite then being "anonymous" to each other, they are subconsciously picking up on things about the other, making them extremely comfortable with them. It's not just the compatibility, rather, it's the fact that they are talking to someone they have been close with forever. They don't notice it yet, but they are finding solace in a long-time friend. Notice how Onyx immediately calmed down when he started talking to "Taken" and the anxiety faded. He doesn't realize it, bit it's because even through text, someone close/special to you can have a major effect on your disposition and feelings. Same for Keane - he immediately feels comfortable enough to spam text "Nocturne" because once again, there is no form of contact, whether in person or through text messages, where you can't feel someone you love. I bet money they both will have major moments of deja vu yet to come. It's sweet how Onyx thinks of Keane in his moments of anxiety. It's just a shame he continues to push him away despite wanting him there with him. I'm going to need for Onyx to explain in detail WHY he keeps pushing away someone he clearly loves and wants in his life. I'm willing to bet it's because he feels like he doesn't want to burden Keane's life with his trauma, or dealing with the most vulnerable stages of him. I will say something quickly about Kai - I appreciate how he's been there for Onyx, as he was there for him in his biggest time of need. I still need to know what was told to him by Onyx, and I still have my side-eye positioned, because of the things he's doing for Onyx in such a condensed amount of time. Believe it or not, it's easier for someone to open up to a "stranger" because that person hasn't seen/experienced the worst parts of them. The shame is far less. With Keane, I bet Onyx feels more shame with him, because he's knows every single part of him. This is why he's currently leaning on Kai more, and keeping Keane at arm's length.

When "Nocturne" told "Taken" to just be direct and go talk it out, I expected Keane to then be knocking on his door, lol. Also when they're casually chatting, "I wanna hear you play!" "If you come tune it for me I will", I again expected Keane to then knock on Onyx's door lol. I hope our boys have a heart-to-heart conversation soon 🥺
