Ohhh sh*t is getting real. I hope it doesn't get to violent again like I don't want to see axel continue to get screwed over or hurt without even knowing if he's really the big bad homophobe he's been made out to be. Plus its nice seeing a more chill side of him because you can give them more personality at that point cause all we really know about axel is he's poor and likes basket ball and may or may not be a homophobe. I really want to know more about him personality wise.

Awwww, baby Kai is the cutest ever. ❤️ You can already tell by that photo that he probably had to grow up fast given his family's line of business. I never expected that we would get a full-fledged BL within a BL with the side couple, but I love it. These two probably have more in common than they realize, both having fathers, for whom, they've tried to live up to their expectations. Kai, coming from a wealthy crime family, probably had to prove himself worthy to his Crime Boss father through being tough and unforgiving. Axel, coming from a lower-income family, definitely had to prove himself worthy to his homophobic, abusive father, hence his attitude towards Onyx since meeting him (and his relationship with Keane). Perhaps these two need each other more than they realize. Now, we have Axel being of extra interest to Kai's father. This is going to be interesting. I can smell the father/son conflict coming.

I wonder if Kai’s dad will use Axel as a crutch to force Kai to take over more of the business. If I recall Kai had a phone call in a previous episode where it’s suggested he’s keeping the gang stuff at arms length.
