We all know Axel has been going through some serious shit, and Onyx has, too. With the abuse and fear of being outted and so many other things—I think Onyx sees it on Axel’s face. I think he sees more than just the high school bully. I think we might see Onyx meddling with Kai a little bit?? I don’t know but I really like the little details and how Onyx actually looked worried for Axel because he’s BEEN THERE!!! It’s why Onyx ran away in the first place. 1- thanks for this chapter 2- I think I had a new insight today. Keane is nice and all but he is privileged, and therefore quite oblivious of his environment. From the angle I had tonight, I understand that he mostly focuses on his world—onyx, basketball, his family, and few other hobbies that come along with. He wouldn’t be able to recognize “distress” until being told “here! This is distress”. That’s a bit clumsy as a way to love but okay. 3- I agree with most of you, Axel needs a break. I hope Onyx will provide him support as his sensitivity could allow to communicate.

It's so hard watching the "perfect couple" from Axel's perspective. He's struggling and confused right now, and they're all lovey dovey, which is super insulting to him. Plus, if Keene even sees him, he instantly gets aggressive. Even cold war status would be better than outright hostility. As for said "perfect couple..." Keene! Take a chill pill and listen to ya boy! He's obvs uncomfy, so just go back to the room first!

I loved this episode so much, and I agree Axel needs a break tbh. Although, to be fair...Keane isn't a reader; he only has his own experiences to judge the situation on. He doesn't know anything about his involvement with loan sharks or Kai or that he might be repressed. All he knows is that he outed them, caused a lot of the issues that led to Onyx eventually running away for four months. Also, when they met again as roommates, it's not exactly like Onyx said he was sorry, and as much as I think Axel is having a bad time...I do think he still needs to apologize to Keane and Onyx for invading their privacy in the first place. From Keane's point of view, he may be a bit reflexive but justified in being defensive. What you do when you're in an internalized homophobic state may explain your behavior, but doesn't excuse it.

I genuinely tear up whenever I see Axel quietly suffering, because I can relate to him in some way. Constantly being accused/blamed, without even having the chance to defend yourself, is something I had to deal with growing up. People would always assume the worst, and if I did try to defend myself… Well, I was often verbally abused. I can understand why Axel doesn’t bother speaking up, because he is clearly emotionally/mentally exhausted. I can’t wait to see Axel receive the love/support that he truly deserves. He is probably my favourite character… 🥹

Keane is kinda right about Kai.. hot king but does some messed up questionable things. and Axel, might not be a great person but is clearly not doing well and needs that support. he looks completely exhausted, not even trying to fight for himself, he just gave up on himself. I hope he gets out of it.

I know Keane is protective of Onyx and afraid he might get hurt again and intuitive enough to feel that Kai gives off dangerous vibes, but he's too much on the defensive. Seriously, these four need to talk and the sooner the better. Between each couple of course, but also learn to know one another. I do hope they bridge these gaps. As for Axel, he is so walled up, I wonder what could happen to hurt him that much...

Dangerous vibes = sometimes it’s someone in trouble. I understand why he is acting the way that he does and from his perspective if I only knew his version I would probably support kean in his actions but knowing the full picture I do feel bad for Axel like a lot lot. I love how onyx is able to be so objective about it because he does recognise he’s covered in bruises. He does recognise its trouble and he is questioning it. Maybe he is in trouble and not just a trouble. Anyway, I do agree with Keane boy that Kai and Axel suit each other well ☺️ they just need a lot of work . I’m not just talking about the work that they are currently doing.

It’s been so long since we’ve seen Onyx and Keane forgot how perfect they were together. Also I kinda liked how Onyx was being nice to Axel even if it wasn’t meant to be that way. Honestly I hope when the time comes that Kai protecs our lil sad Axel muffin in their relationship, and that it's the most mouth-and-eye- wateringly sweet fluff that Axel needs and Kai desperately wants. We've seen what Kai did to those guys who beat up Axel and they aren't even in a relationship yet, so I have high hopes! I want them to be so vulnerable and mushy gushy that it makes our hearts flutter and our stomachs flip because that's what they deserve as a couple with how terrible and lonely both of their lives have been 🥹💖 We will need those sweet images projected into the sky to heal us all from the pain and angst 🥲 Kai has his sister, but clearly he still isn't fully himself with her. He also has Onyx, but he's more like his protector rather than a mutual friendship. He can't tell him about himself and a huge part of his life (probably to protect Onxy and not to burden him further). He has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders and I really feel for him. I hope he can trust and lean on Axel so much that he curls up onto his chest and Axel wraps his arms around him and holds him too 😭
