I’ve got to say I know axels eyes too well a soulless person with nothing to loose his mentality is “ you bleed just to know your alive” but I see Kai’s eyes are upset to have to wait another month for axel to touch him when he says ‘fuck he’s cute’ all he wants is to be able to touch him even earlier questioning if axel is okay with him touching him calling him cute/pretty while touching him to see his reaction of which he would hate worse wanting axel to see him less of a object to get money by also saying aren’t I getting ripped off for only a blow job suggesting he wants more of a part in the ‘contract/contact’ he doesn’t want to just feel good he also wants to make axel feel good not just having a soulless eyes with only his life to loose Kai truely cares for axel more and more each day wanting to make sure he’s healthy and strong enough to survive by getting food / drinks/ rest / warmth or cold depending on the weather they way he runs to axel after not seeing him for a day he pushed himself infront of everyone wanting to not see axel in any danger or having been hurt while seeing him clinging to being awake but not hurt he feels relief but sadness and emptiness seeing axel clinging on working himself to death when seeing his father watching axel in his mind he debates to himself ways he can save axel his mind in panic other than his love for him Kai even debates to himself agreeing to axels offer he doesn’t feel bad about how much axel is asking for Kai only agrees knowing that axel won’t just accept his money and to be close to him being able to see his full face not just the side being covered by a hood or towel even when Kai noticed axel was bleeding having reopened his wound he felt instant regret and guilt but probably buzzed but when his hand is slapped away he realises to himself that he is only a object to axel for the next or next next chapter I recon Kai won’t be able to hold himself back from axel and will want more because seeing axels face already melts his heart even tho we don’t know which one is top or bottom but i believe Kai would accept either for axel however from Kai calling axel ‘pet’ he already knows that Kai wants to be dominant but axel being proud and strong willed or maybe he could be putting on a brave face but is nervous/scared and could use that against Kai but by the redness on his face and looking away could show how he is warming up to Kai not wanting to see what Kai’s eyes could look like axel may think Kai is looking at him like a ‘pawn’ or ‘object in a game’ he may want to see pleasure and meaningful eyes with desire for him from Kai

I’m just glad it’s clearly not as traumatizing for him this time. Of course, I still feel horribly bad and this is incredibly wrong, but comparing this to last time,I just don’t want Axel continuing to spiral so far. Because unlike the commenter who tried to argue that Axel and I consented to our situations, a choice where one outcome is something you could never in a million years handle or survive is no choice at all.

I like it in some ways but due to the manipulative nature of the arrangement, it being an emotional slow burn is difficult to enjoy as much. If mutual attraction was a bit more obvious it’d be a little more enjoyable. Maybe a better peek into Axels thoughts to show that he is enjoying it more than he realized or something to that effect. It wouldn’t need to be admitted openly between the two of them but just like… almost something in good faith? That is just my take on why some people in the comments also are conflicted on enjoying it and my idea of how that would improve. Since you said you were looking forward to seeing people’s thoughts lol
