I cannot wait to see what happens tomorrow!! though I really do feel like Axel has/had some kind of feelings for onyx, with it being some kind of little crush he had as a kid? jealousy over his friendship with keane and how they had/have a bond that is really strong and how they lean on the other for help, unlike compared to axel where he was in constant DV and an unhealthy dynamic with his father and his mother leaveing as well. And yes, it can very much be that axel had a crush on onyx and just didn't know what to do with it or his father said something bad about it, but we also have to remember that he doesn't really know what safety and comfort truly is at this point, and with his mother leaving the way she did it could have fucked with the way he handles strong emotions like love, longing, friendship and more. So yes it could be like everyone is thinking and if it is then that still works and I love the idea, but on the flip side! We can see in real life on how sometimes kids in a similar or same place as axel can also act out like the way he has in the due to jealousy, it can be jealousy over friendship, the bond we've seen that onxy and keane have for the story, and how they can go the one another for help, comfort, safety and love. It could also be due to the fact onyx and keane have a much better money situation unlike his family (Axel's family) since it seems like money has always been an issue for them, or the bullying could have been about looks or just to keep up the fact kid were scared of him, and new kids, (more so the shy one like onyx) get picked on more out of Insecurities of his own life back home, now I could be completely wrong or reading into it way to hard since we still have to wait for all the episodes to come out but that's kinda how I've been seeing it, I've been seeing it more as axel hiding under his mask of being this big bully that people are scared or just straight up jealousy and Insecurities that he doesn't want people to see, or he's just been hiding what he's scared of for to long to the point he feels like he can let himself show just how badly he is truly hurting on the inside. (I'm really sorry!! I know this is real long but I just wanted to make this and see if others agree with me or not, and if you don't then I would actually like to see why so I can get more of an understanding, oh! Also know sorry if this doesn't make a whole lot of sense, I'm going on an hour of sleep as of making this rn and English is still odd to me sense I speak Spanish most of the time.)
