Sure mature and all if he wants to end his experiment but breaking off the deal leaves him at an even worse state: even more trauma, stress and confusion with unhumanly high debt to pay. The way to go would be to pay w/o expecting anything in return until he recovers emotionally. I dont see how to safe this relationship otherwise.

Now now, time for predictions! 🥹. 1. Kai does as he says and tells Axel that the deal is off, while doing this- Kai starts avoiding Axel. Axel can’t bring himself to talk to Kai and can’t bring himself to face the fact he may or may not have fallen for him. 2. They both start avoiding each other because they find it awkward, Kai gets ahold of himself and apologizes even though Axel just brushed it off. 3. Axel wakes up and finds Kai playing guitar. Kai apologizes and tells Axel that the deal is off. They sit in silence for a bit and they try to avoid the awkwardness by trying to ignore each other. In this time span, Axel CANT stop thinking about Kai and keeps questioning if something is wrong with him and proceeds to curse at him in his mind. Have a great day/night everyone!

Okay so like… Kai ACTUALLY cares about Axel so much, like he went to see if he was okay, he put Axel in his bed andddd Kai always notices that Axel cried alot. But something makes me sad, cuz if Kai is gonna end it all, then Axel would be worse than he was before, and that just makes me sad

I just finished crying from the ending of 2ha (trust it was the reread), and now I'm crying again 😭😭😭 Kai, babydoll, you are such a good person, in spite of what your sperm donor tried and is trying to do to you. The fact that you have the self-awareness to admit this stuff to yourself is more than most people ever have. That you have the determination and courage to put an end to it is even more amazing. As a side note: you can't blame yourself for triggering trauma you didn't know about! You can feel bad that it was triggered obvs, but you don't need to beat yourself up over it. Axel, my poor, sweet cinnamon roll. I know you were asleep for this whole episode, but I hope you learn to trust that Kai won't take advantage of your trauma. I'm gonna predict/say what I want to happen. 😁 I'm gonna say that Onyx is going to recommend therapy, Axel will refuse it, and Kai helps him work through it with a slow immersion therapy tactic. 💜

These are some good realizations Kai, but the debt can't just be wiped away, so how are you going to work that out? I feel like a conversation is needed between you and Axel anyway (whenever Axel actually wants to have one is it's own problem), might as well figure out a new arrangement that doesn't get both of you missing limbs or killed

this one is HARD. Also because I genuinely don’t know what Kai’s best choice of action is here besides finding a way to pay the debt no matter what. but running away now would be avoiding his responsibility, and Axel might not even want that either. Kai fucked up bad, but you can see the cracks in him too, and I don’t think those are going unnoticed by Axel. I think he’s gotta distance himself hard and apologize profusely and then get Axel to join the band so he can reasonably pay the debt like he’s doing with Onyx’s schooling. I think that’s gotta be the best way for him to go.

my prediction is I think that Kai will cut the deal off and then Axel would feel relief … but maybe miss the comfort when Kai cared and asked if he was okay..

I’m actually going to lose my fucking mind. I don’t even know what to say or think or feel, all I know is how I’m not sure how I’m supposed to wait another week for the next episode. Like what is Axel going to think when he wakes up? Is Kai even going to fall asleep? What’s going to happen? I have no idea. Not even a theory, and I always have a theory. This just breaks my lil heart 💔

A simple prediction that axel is gonna wake up and realize hes been carried to bed. Kai may or may not be there but whenever they are around eachother again Kai is going to tell him hes letting him out of the deal. No more sexual stuff, but he realizes that hes in a position that doing those things was ment to help him pay off his really large debt quickly so in order to still keep good standing he'll continue to help him with his debt for really basic stuff like what onyx did with Keane and his wishes. Laundry, cooking, homework orrr be in his band! Offers him a paid job. Axel takes time to think about it cause he knows its unlikely that onyx or Keane will be happy about it at all. But somehow ultimately convinces himself to do it. Axel and onyx eventually have a conversation and maybe we find out something we've all been dying to know and then hopefully things become a little more chill for a bit and then they all play a concert and get a good crowd and afterwards they are all hyped and kai wants to celebrate, they all go out drinking and Keane and onyx return to their room for dirty stuff. And then maybe. Oh just maybe,, kai and axel are sitting in their beds from across the room looking at each other. Kai makes a comment about being horny and possibly needing to use the bathroom for a bit and axel who been "having thoughts" lately, says something like "you dont have to leave, I could just face away or something" then kai is gonna be like ok and just start getting straight to business and somehow by some minimal of God, they will end up touching eachother again. But i think axel is going to want to keep it very quiet as he is going to struggle with coming out as bi. And that is my current simple prediction lol

I kinda like Kai’s line of thought of “I saw what I wanted to see.” Lots of readers will relate to that too. I think it will make it even more meaningful to almost… now see everything that happens from now on in a truer lense. I think that Kai now understanding that there is more to Axel than just a bit of homophobia, Kai will change his approach to him. He’ll give him more space and be more honest without the smugness. And I think Axel will be more honest in return about what is too far for him and eventually, why it is

I still think there is a part of Axel that *did* want it, but he's been suppressing that part of himself so long, he's terrified and repulsed by the part of himself that wants it. His feelings for Kai are all mixed up with his latent feelings for Onyx and the music teacher who attempted to groom him (and that's not even including all the mistrust that was sowed with their first few encounters). But, I do think it's necessary for Kai to have this moment of introspection. Now that he's accepted that he has real feelings for Axel, the approach he's been using won't work anymore. I think, ironically, that Axel will be upset about ending the deal, and his character development will be admitting to himself that it wasn't just about the money; that part of the reason he took the deal was bc he's attracted to Kai and was curious I hope there will be some happier days again soon for Kaxel 😢

PREDICTION: First Kai needs to apologize to Axel and call off the deal OR redirect the deal and Axel needs to understand Kai’s and his own feelings. When they start talking again I think Kai is going to learn about Axel’s passion for drumming. He’ll offer to pay off his debt if Axel joins his band. Over time they’ll get closer again and Kai will help Axel learn and practice. I hope they get closer in a way that’s not sexual but I don’t mind either as long as there’s boundaries.

Also, I hate to say it, but lately I've been thinking that maybe Axel *did* spread that picture of Onyx and Keene bc he was jealous and heartbroken. Think about it: it's a pretty huge coincidence that Axel ended up at the same school as Onyx and Keene, no? I mean, the school is all the way across the country, it's not like it's a local uni. Onyx went there to runaway/have a fresh start, and Keene followed Onyx, but it's so suspicious to me that Axel *just happened* to end up at this uni, out of all the schools he could have chosen. Perhaps he followed Onyx to try to make amends?

Oof this episode hurt. But it was necessary. Kai needed a reality check of his actions and selfishness that is harming Axel. But I know for sure if Kai just tells Axel it’s all over without explanation why, Axel will be confused and pissed. Again communication is needed, but it will take time

I really hope that Kai just pays off Axel’s debt. They need to have a relationship (and I don’t even mean romantic just a general person to person relationship or maybe even friendship) without the debt hanging over them. Only then can true feelings be revealed from both ends. I also really hope that Kai doesn’t try to remove himself from Axel’s life because while I think they BOTH will think that is for the best, I would hate to see Axel being abandoned by yet another person. That would be so detrimental to him now especially after what just happened between him and Kai. I know they say distance makes the heart grow fonder, but what they really need is ACTUAL COMMUNICATION!!! Ugh my boys😭
