So I would say it's about a 60% because even if onyx isn't actually going to see Ethan, I'm pretty sure he's just trying to make some kind of excuse so he doesn't have to go with Keane and get exposed cuz I think that's what he's most worried about. Okay, had to re-read this to make sure, but: Onyx never technically is shown answering Keane’s questions about what his ‘type’ is. Onyx just is speculating in his head about how Keane would respond if he did say something. So what do ya bet Onyx just snarked his way through every question without actually answering? Btw - 80% sus on everybody except Hailey who looks all blushy flirt - she’s pretty clueless. Keane is immediately checking with Onyx which is like a test: to see if Onyx is still there and has his back, as well as seeing if Onyx has a jealous reaction. Which Onyx doesn’t because he’s playing Mr Snarky Cool Cucumber. It’ll be interesting to see where the next chapter goes and if Onyx really has plans with Ethan or just has plans to hide out from the world. Btw: also, I don’t think Onyx really likes dressing as a chick - I just think he likes Keane paying attention to him. Obviously he’s not 100% adverse, but he always protests and doesn’t get fancy planning his own accessorizing/dress. I think he’s just doing it for Keane and Keane is realizing he likes it a bit too much.

I’m gonna go with 75% sus for Keane because I can’t tell if he’s just worried he’s losing Onyx as his bff or if he’s actually having unrealized feelings of the romantic persuasion. The shipper in me obvs hopes for the latter! And that “not really my girlfriend” line is so shady. Onyx not so much. As far as I can tell he’s just sick of feeling bad around Keane and wants to hang with someone who doesn’t make him sad (however unintentionally). But he is fully aware of Keane’s jealous tendencies so maybe I’m wrong.
