Estelle

The “surprise treat” is restoring some of my lost hope

Estelle

Ily Onyx but that’s a real messed up thing to write to your bestie with no explanation whatsoever. They’re so bad at communicating it’s almost funny

Alona

Keane should respond with Onyx’s own words: you’re way too damn important to me to keep my distance from you

Ankreia

🥲 im okay…🥲

Rachel Evans

Watch his reply be "fucc that" while he runs crying to onyx 😭😭

C

Onyx distance plan has never made sense to me.Ethan putting it in head though does; ulterior motive. What reason, that stands to logic, do you give your 15 plus years long childhood friend for not being around them anymore? You have a emotional one(you think he likes someone else while you're in love with him),but if you tell him that than you will have to talk and apparently we can't have that. So you need another reason that's based on logic and there isn't one. There is no logical reason Onyx can give Keane for why two best friends have to suddenly keep their distance, and especially when you just reaffirmed to said friend how important he is to you just last night....

vinny
>>103544091

Sometimes you have to take time anyway from an issue, distance is always an option. Besties can have fights too, besties of many years can have space too. I personally agree with this.

Estelle
>>103544091

Exactly. I hope Onyx will realise soon that it’s complete nonsense and that Ethan solely suggested it to keep them apart for his own benefit. Oh well…

Alona

Will we see Onyx’s perspective on this? While being reasonable before he really fucks this up

Alona
>>103544091

Do you think that Onyx is with Ethan now since he’s so following this stupid distancing plan suggested by him? In case he is, I hope he will realize the need to distance himself from Ethan too

SoraKairi

Wwwwwhhhhhhhaaaaattttt!!!! That's such bad timing.

lynz_fan

I guess we never really left the pain train yet 🥹 I might’ve hated Hailey’s guts with a passion but I’m glad she made Keane realize how he really feels… thanks gurl. Now… how the heck am I supposed to wait for two days?! 😭 and then some more after that??? The torture just thinking about it

Luna

I can't believe that Onyx decided to keep their distance THE SAME DAY as Keane realized his feelings for him

Estelle

There's so much to unpack. Keane (1) realized he's in love with Onyx, (2) found out there's something going on between Onyx and Ethan, which implies Onyx isn't straight, (3) has to speculate as to why Onyx wants to keep his distance from him. There are so many different possible scenarios as to how Keane will react and what he'll do

Laetiiiiiiii

WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE HAVEN’T SEEN REAL PAIN????

Laetiiiiiiii

anyway i must be a sadist because i like seeing keane cry

ManaR

Wait! I just realized Hailey outed Ethan without even realizing it……

Amanda
>>103547979

She definitely did. I wonder if that will be addressed later

ManaR
>>103547979

I agree I’m curious on how that will play out, Oh man what a mess..

Amanda

I feel like the sneak peeks are bad for my heart. I get to think about this anguish for the next two days now! I’m still not gonna stop looking at the sneak peeks tho…. I’m way too obsessed 😅

emmy

please don’t

Dannie

Oh no if they just were open about how they feel all this could be avoided!!! 🫣🫣🫣 I’m happy Keane came to terms with all this that is not easy!

Casey

I’m actually delighted by this sneak peek; I’m excited to see Keane take a turn on the Yearn Train x3 though as other commenters have said, I wish he had other friends to process all this with! his family doesn’t seem super involved in his life, and it seems like he’s mostly only pals with Onyx and Hailey’s friend group, and neither Hailey nor Ethan are likely to be the best confidantes right now 😅 I doubt it’ll happen, but I think Keane and Hailey’s-bestie-whose-name-I-forget having a heart-to-heart about Keane’s new gay crisis would be very cute!

Casey
>>103550432

what I am dreading is whatever’s gonna happen with Ethan — we trust that Keane and Onyx are gonna get a happy ending eventually, and Hailey’s going through it atm but it probably can’t get much worse for her, but Ethan’s currently very excited about a budding new possible relationship with Onyx, and that bubble is likely to burst and it’s not gonna be fun for Ethan or for Onyx 😳 I am glad that at least both of them know from the get-go that Onyx is down bad for Keane, and that Onyx kissing Ethan was/is explicitly a “rebound-that-might-lead-to-something-more” kinda vibe and not a “yeah I’m 100% gay for you personally, Ethan” kinda vibe

Simone

Author really said: Ya'll havent seen real pain 🙃

Kittiefemm

Iajdbrjdondjdksjrhxjekejfhidkejdjfjkdjh *faceplants* MY HEART ugh

C
>>103544091

Sure best friends need space sometimes, and so do romantic partners even living in the same house like husbands and wives, but they have legitimate reasons. From Keane's point of view his best friend just said I need a break from you, through text at that, even though we cuddled last night, reaffirmed our closeness, and hung out all day. If he won't tell Keane the truth then he needs to give another legitimate reason for the fissure and he doesn't have one.

MAY✨
>>103547979

I mean…in all fairness he should have probably known Hailey would say something to Keane and obviously Keane knows “Lynx” is Onyx….soooo…Ethan outed Onyx pretty knowingly….

ManaR
>>103547979

That is so true. Maybe he did it to try to get Keane away from Onyx?

Hana Bored
>>103547979

in my opinion, it seemed more like he was excited to tell his best friend about how he went out with the person he liked and kissed… i may be wrong but i don’t think he had bad intentions since i tell my bestie stuff like that too 🤷‍♀️

C
>>103550432

Yea,I wish Keane had someone to talk to. For all his unterior motives Ethan does narratively work as a semi- therapist for Onyx thoughts. Keane doesn't have anyone like that. Though maybe Axel can take the role lol. I also think it's weird that we have never seen even a glimpse of Keane's house or family. We have even seen Hailey's before his.

artsy_amusing

What bad (perfect) timing for that text Onyx. Let the drama begin! I'm an angst monster myself, but this is visit to the therapist level ish right here. 😩 Personally, I'm interested in seeing Keane yearn for Onyx the way he has been for him, but I feel like Onyx's text was reactive to Keane leaving to find Hailey. We all know he really doesn't want to keep any distance, he's just hurt and tired of feeling like a backseat, economy-class passenger on the Keane/Hailey train. Little does he know, Keane has now figured out who he's actually in love with, and Hailey was never his girlfriend (or even a prospect). All that dragging Lynx/Onyx around on his charades did Keane no favors. Now it's up to him to hurry up and make it clear what's really going on. Oh, and Hailey, nah bish - he's not crying because of you. There's still no chance, hmph. 😤😎

Gwentergreen

"surprise treat" sounds like a lie

ManaR
>>103547979

That is true, maybe I just thought negatively because of how Hailey used that information to hurt Keane

tea

i am in so much mental pain author PLS MY HEART CAN ONLY TAKE SO MUCH 😭😭

Kaydan Dua

That “surprise treat” better be them figuring everything out and getting together cause I don’t think my heart can take much more

Amanda
>>103556018

I personally want to see Hailey have some character development here. She’s shocked that he’s crying and I want her to grow up a little and comfort him.

yaz

WAAAAAHHHHH 😩

La Ni

I'M DYING NOOOOOWWWW.. CANT WAITTTT 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Emma pearson

Omg I canny dae this ,it’s to much man 😭😭😭😭😭

Mares

Me thinking: Onyx with the text timing.. and the scroll down to comment and see the preview image from last week saying “perfect timing”. 😆

Miss Rae, if ya nasty

Ahhhh I can’t wait but I’m gunna cryyyy if they don’t make up

Theni Venta
>>103548391

Ohh, I hope you are ok?! It might be a different situation, here Onxy uses it bc he's madly in love and thinks it's best to shield himself from unrequired love. Your ex is probably a jerk who used these words to get away without giving you a real explanation.

Theni Venta
>>103548391

I hope you find someone who treats you much better!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Moonyena

It hurtsss so bad to see Keane crying his heart out, but I understand Onyx's pain here. 😔 While he had to see and hear Keane with his crush for so long (plus being acting a girl for him), at the same time he was also trying to make his own heart's groving voice being silenced. Onyx must feel like Keane chose Hailey over him, over their friendship... If only Keane would know that now when he is only thinking, how Onyx "is dating Ethan", without even telling about that to him. 🥺 And sadly Keane must feel like Onyx doesn't want to tell things like that to him, to his bestfriend, so he might feel like Onyx doesn't trust things to him. I know that feeling too well, when people to who I have told everything, doesn't share their life with me. Well, this is such a mess... 😣

Moonyena
>>103544091

I don't think Onyx would just start dating Ethan right away, if he does have brains. 😅 I mean he still does feel so much towards Keane, so I think he wouldn't just start something new with someone else. If I'm not wrong, he doesn't feel anything romantic towards Ethan, even he knows Ethan likes him. He though kissed him, but maybe Onyx was kind of testing himself too, what he feels when he kisses someone else, because things like that are new for him.

🎩

please have keane run to onyxs house and swoop in like a hero and reveal his feelings

Lavender

THIS IS KILLING ME-😭

Hana Bored
>>103620498

well also if onyx said anything about him and ethan to keane he would also be outing ethan… so i think it’s understandable. also it was tough for onyx to even acknowledge he was gay, so it makes sense he only told ethan since ethan came out to onyx first he was able to feel more comfortable… just my thoughts

Hana Bored
>>103550432

ok also when hailey called she said she was at the park by his house and i just wanna know how she knows where he lives when i don’t even know 😭

Moonyena
>>103620498

Yeah, it's so difficult. 😣 It's just that Keane didn't have any clue, that Onyx would even like someone. And there wasn't actually anything like that to tell to Keane, until he kissed Ethan (and i think Onyx doesn't know, that Ethan is speaking about them, like they are dating)... And just after that everything started to fall apart, so there was no place for Onyx to tell anything, while he got hurt even more and decided that some time off is better (which in their case hurts both even more). This is so clever story! 😊 Just wondering, how slow burn this might be...

Casey
>>103550432

KVXKHSKH so true!!! the man simply phases into existence when there’s cute and/or gay shit to be done—

Olivia Moss

happy boy girlfriend day! i’m so excited for the episode

sunshine2919

Don’t you think that Keane will misunderstand and start thinking that Onyx was asking to practice kissing with him because of Ethan, so now he’ll think that Onyx did all of that because he “likes” Ethan. I can already see the mess coming! 😭

tea
>>103654201

istg if this actually happens i might start crying

Alona
>>103620498

Well Keane was trying to confirm whether Onyx likes him (letting the hug, not pulling away, being flustered and jealous) and he started distinguish the changes in Onyx’s tone and mood once Hailey is in the picture… I really hope he has the guts to go back to Onyx’s place and make him talk of the reason of this distancing bullshit, and be prepared to talk his feelings too

Che
>>103654201

That’s the mess I’m worried about. Like come on go confess already
