Keane may be dumb 😏 but the boy is also such a sensitive, empathetic soul and I LOVE him for that! The way he’s always been there for Onyx and how they’ve cared so deeply for each other since they were babas. I’m sobbing! The panel of them crying together and Onyx gripping onto Keane’s shirt in tiny! 😭😭😭 I’m glad that Onyx found strength and started to stand up for himself…but also that Keane arrived just in the nick of time! The “my girlfriend” moment was everything! Remember when he asked Onyx to be his “gilfriend” in the flashback a few chapters back? And now he finally got to say it out loud! Hopefully it wont be long now until it officially changes to boyfriend… 👀 I can’t wait! 💜

Saying I screamed when I saw it was Keane who reached for the phone would be a serious understatement. My soul got snatched for a minute, then re-entered my body. The sound I made broke into another dimension. 😳🤯 I loved the parallel between Keane saving Onyx when they were kids to them now. If that doesn't spell out world's greatest best friend and the ultimate boyfriend material, then Onyx's mind must have been abducted. You know it's serious when the eyes are absent...Keane meant business when he snatched that phone. Then the glare? Chillleeee... Chef's kiss. 🤌🏾 This had to happen for Onyx to realize pushing Keane away was a terrible decision. No one will be there for him like Keane, so allowing others to give advice on his relationship and actions regarding Keane should be in one ear and out the other. Understandably he was dealing with his own feelings and frustrations with the whole Keane/Hailey fiasco, but cutting him off was not the answer to his pain. Keane showing up right on time DESPITE them being at odds currently says a lot. It says, "I'm still here and not going anywhere Onyx, whether you like it or not." This was definitely a lesson learned for our dear Onyx. Ethan gets a few of his cool points back, as I believe he was the one who called Keane there. Now stay out of their relationship, you interloper. 😤 This warrants Onyx to at least talk to Keane, and be honest about how he feels. We all know the "my girlfriend" comment is a foreshadowing of what's to come... Soon to be my "boyfriend" hehe. 🤭🥰
