Shadiya Lyons

can they have a conversation already god 🤦🏾‍♀️

Nici

Either they talk RIGHT NOW or Onyx leaves the team because Keane deserves to be recognized as a great player by the scouts!!

Moises

No matter how slow we read it still feels short😭😭

Luna Rose

They were short a player, so it might not be possible without exhausting the players or possibly forfeit.

Alyssa

onyx is getting on my nerves lowkey. “is it bc of me are u out of ur mind” that dude has been defending u and has had ur back ur entire damn life. u rlly think he’d go against ur boundries and talk to u? onyx needs to pull keane aside in the locker room or something and talk this shit out so keane can win. onyx is ruining his whole future🙄 (still love both characters and the story lol)

Nici
>>109305871

I forgot about that. Well then they need a timeout and a talk. (One that doesn't end with one of them getting angry/sad and running away...)

Aria Eudaimond

i didn’t know it was possible for onyx to be this clueless i need communication pretty pretty plz 😭

artsy_amusing

This is annoying as hell. Get on with it already (i.e., them actually talking it out). 😤 It's like Onyx is malware disrupting Keane's system. We need a FACTORY RESET PLEASE. We can start by them actually having a conversation to clear up the misunderstandings that are currently interrupting their friendship, first and foremost. Next, Onyx needs to apologize to Keane for making a stupid decision to push him away, purely on anger, assumption and letting Ethan sway him so easily. We can then move to Keane telling Onyx that he's actually in love with him (and has been for some time), which is why the whole, "keep your distance" fiasco messed him up so much. At this point, it's a headache for both of them (and the readers, argh!), and them avoiding speaking/interacting is getting them nowhere fast. Now, with that said, I do think Keane is going to snap out of it and have his opportunity to shine, but it's going to take Onyx pulling him aside at the very least to talk to him (or get off the damn team and bring in an alternate if there is one). The fact that Keane froze like that spells trauma from some serious heartbreak. Learn from this Onyx, take it in, and don't fuck up like this again. 😠🤬😮‍💨

Elliott Christian

I want them to get it together 😭 but also this is very teenagers

Melissa Webber

come on now! don't keep dragging it out :(

Amber

they better have like one of the best confessions ever because this back and forth is killing me

Courtney Taylor

I love waiting and zooming through in 3 seconds xD can't wait for the next one!!

MAY✨

Omg…he’s just completely broken at this point and it’s killing me 😫 Hopefully a timeout and some actual conversation between them will happen in the next update!!! Thanks for an early update Nicole!! Had to sneak read it at work but as always well worth it!! ❤️❤️

Oliveu

Early update is like an early Christmas! BUT reading every comment and you're all dropping facts rn!! Omg😭 Also does anyone know how to time travel to next week? So soooo much ♥ to Nicole! Can't wait for the next update! It's worth the wait but time traveling because i cant wait a whole week... 😭😭😭 This is 100% best!

Kirsten Gabrielle

No 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 MAKE up please!!!

IAmALeaf

I'm guessing Onyx is gonna ask to be taken out of the game? Poor Keane has been wrecked

Taylor Weiss

Keanne did use Onyx on several occasion and I get why he asked for space. But now is not the time and they really need to talk lol

Oliveu
>>109305982

Omg right? Onyx come through and just say/do something cause Keane is 100% respecting your wishes and this is the outcome... I hope they settle this before game ends

lynz_fan

Just because Onyx called him? Or because he heard/saw Onyx? Which is it? Which is the culprit?? Oof but I do hope they talk it out soon so we can return to the slow burn… I really hope this doesn’t drag on for too long…

Luna

early update?! author I'm really grateful that you spoil us so much but I feel like you work really hard, please don't overwork yourself ☹️❤️ also Onyx please just stop that stupid "let's keep our distance" game and talk to your best friend cuz I can't stand it anymore

🎩

UAGUHHHH

Ash

getting on my last nerve right now

YoCha

they better talk talk fr

Krümel Reichel

Just kiss abd make up right there on the field

Luz

KEANEE MY BABY 🥲🥲🥲🥲

My_FleetingMind

I blame Ethan…🙄 On a serious note, I hope Keane perks up in time! And that they talk (and maybe snuggle or smooch). Protect our babies at all costs!!! Especially our vulnerable baby Keane rn!

Melissa Meraz

Am I the only one who hyperfocused on Kaene's necklace?? Cause in basketball you can't play with jewelry. I know it's not relevant! And it doesn't take from the story buuuuut I couldn't look away and thought "man, the referees for this game aren't very good if they didn't notice the necklace" 😅😅

Kiley Everette

Who told u to write this good, who told u to eat this up🥹🥹

La Ni

Can't you get your act together Keanne?! Ugh!!! I can't with this Rainbow High!!! gggggrrrrrr.....

Megan and Carol

Me when I guess the next 4 episodes and I’m wrong right off the bat

RQC

“Read it slow” bahaha NEVER

add1etown

THIS IS ALL ETHANS FAULT (it most likely isn’t)

Estelle

I truly hope Onyx will apologise soon, he can’t be that oblivious to how much damage he’s caused

Moonyena

Keane is fighting not to be close to Onyx with all his power he has, just because Onyx wished it. And Keane will do so, because he would do anything for his best friend. It will eventually make him more sick and may lose sooo much, if Onyx doesn't fix this mess. 😰 ”We’re super close now. Ethan is super fun and trustworthy, I can’t wait to see him again.” ”He’s actually a really good guy. We hit it off quite well.” ”I’m sick of you!” ”This was just practice. And now I don’t need it anymore.” ”You should know, that Lynx is going out with Ethan now! I heard they kissed, too!” I'm in love with him. ”Let’s keep our distance for a while.” ”You are right, I didn’t need you. And I definitely didn’t expect you to be there.” And there we have a reason why Keane looks like that... Keane thinks he's worthless just because Onyx's powerful words (which are lies, but how Keane would know that). He can't even remember Onyx's much more important words, how Keane is way too damn important for him to be sick of him. He should remember that and there's no better time for it than NOW! But Keane is so deep in his broken mind right now, he can't make it on his own. 😭💔

Emily Carr

Here’s my dumb prediction: Onyx will be kicked off the game, and then reappear as lynx and kiss Keane on the court to build up his confidence

ShaLeyahh

aaa i hope we get better communication between them soon bc these last few chapters have made me take so many breaks 😭 also ty for the early update! pls don’t overwork yourself!!

E. H. Main

Well you weren't wrong, that did feel short lol but that's true of every week. 😭

Dark Mistress

I forgot to read it slow 😭😭

🎩

casually waiting for sneak peak

Ellinor

Please have them talk to each other❤️
