Although I don’t really like Kai (he is hot and it’s pissing me off) and I do think he was kinda rude but I would like to believe his reaction to them meeting is warranted. We have no idea what Onyx has told this guy so I like to hope he acted accordingly based on whatever Onyx said. Still don’t like him, do like that someone is there for Onyx when Keane hasn’t been there and I am so fucking happy that they have grown up and Onyx actually went to fucking talk to Keane!!!! UGH i NEED to know wtf onyx told kai for him to react like that. it feels like keane didnt even do anything wrong so im in confused why kai sees him as like a "threat" or an enemy to onyx. i thought onyx said in that letter that he understood why keane had decline having sex with him that last day, but like if he didnt say tht or i misread or something, then ig he would still believe all that stuff with keane was fake or a lie. like keane felt bad and played along ig and told tht to kai. but if not that then wtf else 😭 keane was there for him the whole time through everything 😭 maybe he told kai abt the hailey stuff and how he pretended to be lynx idk and maybe kai thinks keane was just using and taking advantage of onyx during that time. maybe thats wut onyx believes. idk man 😪 but like bro that last panel of onyx felt so like he was gonna be like "yea i dont want us to see each other again" or like "what are you doing here… ive moved on" or "i want to leave the past in the past" or something 😭 like his face didnt look like he wanted to or was ready to rekindle anything with keane

I actually like Kai more than I thought I would. I don’t think he overreacted or saw Keane as a threat. He gave Onyx the opportunity to let the situation sink in and let him come to Keane when he’s ready to talk. I also don’t think he has something going on with Onyx (or at least not yet) because then he wouldn’t have said “Don’t you go doing anything you might regret. If you care about him maybe try respecting his boundaries”

I like it!! Kai is still making me nervous and seemed a little douchey about the money but I like that he respected Onyx. Also, I think in the whole scene were Kai and Keane are talking Keane doesn’t have his stained shirt anymore! But other than that I’m super interested to see how it plays out 👁️👁️

Well I for one am guessing new guy is his new hookup, Onyx prob felt like he needed to clear his head and have a new start, without all the baggage. It’s not like he actually believed that Keane completely liked him (is that mostly internalized homophobia at this point?? Cuz the ignoring of Keane’s boundaries, his words, etc in favor of his obsessive rejection theory was getting pretty ridiculous). Maybe New Guy will be helpful as an outside observer—all the gender/cross dressing play aside, someone needs to get thru to Onyx that YES, even straight presenting people can be VERY QUEER, in fact.
