II have, for weeeks been working on ocupational therapy forr my hanfd/finger tremor that deeloped from chemo, but got really bad during the two months of chemoradiation. It's HARD, y'all. Tiring, frustrationg, and (duue to my arthritis) actually painful. And using what am learning slows down my typping, which has always had trouble keeping up with my brain when I was on a real hot streak of words. But, it's also working. This post was typed with no correction, and it is TONS better than even just three weeks ago. And given I lost my voice after just doing a BAMF Podcast last week, this is preferrable to switching to speech recgonition/transcription software (which would have it's own frustrating learning curve)..I'v ebeen warning I have hit the "dropout point" now, where improvement slowss and a lot of people give up.I am not going to do that.Yes, the fact that improvement will be longer in coming now and harder to notice will be annoying. But I write a LOT, even ignoring that I write as a crareer, so I have ample opportunity to look backk a month or three and go "Huh, I guess it really is improving."Like so may aspects of my llife, there's a chance I'll never get back to where I was pre-chemoradiation. But I am determined to get to a "good enough" place to the hateflesh blob living up my ass (maybe -- or it might be dead already, we legit do no know for sure) doesn't steal my joy of writing along with the deacade of health and opportunity it already took from me.SCRIPTORES VIVERE.
